I think the general disgruntlement is stemming from being given something and then having it taken away...a few different times. UPS says 9/1 delivery...and then suddenly it's 9/2...and then it's 9/3....and then it's 9/6 for some people. For others, it went back to 9/1 after being at 9/2 and 9/3.
I'm in the same boat. Label created on the 26th and have had delivery date pushed back from 10/1 to 10/6.
You might be right. My original order did say Oct 1 - Oct 7. But when it finally shipped, Apple said Oct 3rd. At that point, UPS said Oct 1st. Then Oct 2nd. Then the 3rd. Now the 6th. Who knows, it could slip past that date too. It could also get pushed forward once it reaches the states.
Everyone wants their phone, sure, but I think the frustration for most is why it all seems so random. Carrier? Phone model? Shipping problems? I don't know. However, I do know that I've read way too many posts of people getting their phones before me that clearly ordered after me.
I'll get my phone eventually, so in the end it's no biggie. But I'm logical person and this process seems to defy logic.

Just a thought. How many people who's phones are stuck ordered on ATT next program. Maybe the new contract and renewals are shipping faster?

That would make sense. Maybe they want the new customer to have a great experience (this includes faster than normal shipping) so they may stay a customer longer. Would be a very dishonest move but I wouldn't doubt it.

I signed up for the Next program because it was cheaper than the contract but I intend to pay off the phone in three months. I don't like the fact that in-store pickup was not offered for new Next customers. I could have had a phone during launch week if I had done the contract with in-store pickup.
I arrived there. Maybe there is a serious tracking problem with my pallet. It seems to be starting its journey all over again :/

Weird - I have the same departure from Zhengzhou at 5:15p, but no corresponding arrival in Incheon
Check yours again. Mine is the same as yours and just departed from Incheon.

Can confirm mine has departed from Incheon. My phone was with the group trapped in Zhengzhou for days, so if you departed from Zhengzhou at 09/30/2014 5:15 P.M.looks like you'll be arriving at Alaska sooner than we thought. Can anyone else confirm departing from Incheon at 12:26 A.M.? Mine is claimed to be delivered on Friday.

Mine has departed Incheon today (30th) at 12:26AM, which fits perfectly to have made the Plane of Incheon to Anchorage. Check my last post the previous page.... Theres the flight, also here's part 2 of the screenshot I posted earlier, Apple was the one that made UPS fail.

Mine arrived at Incheon at 8:30PM. Guess it will be there another day since I don't have a departure scan. My delivery date moved from 10/2 to 10/6.
