Seven apps on the DOC?

What, are they going to be mini icons or will you have to scroll?

I am intrigued by this "stacks" thing, but we shall see.

I could actually see this happening. When in vertical mode, right button will work like stack in OSX and when in landscape mode, you get all the docs.

IF true (big if) I'd expect it to be like the dock in OSX, you swipe across the small icons and they get bigger when hovered over.

That's a good idea but it'd be big pain to re-organize the dock, whether or not the apps were already on the dock or not.

Doubtful. That would be too slow and you'd end up opening the wrong App half of the time. And there's no way they'd make the icons any smaller than they are since it will be harder to tap em.

In conclusion...this is not gonna happen.

So he sent you the screenshot along with an NDA for you to sign, before you had signed it?

Haha right.

The pics were already attached.

I just had to sign the NDA, and mail it back, so I don't share the pics to public. I can describe it though.

A contact at Apple also sent me some pics and an NDA. Looks really nice, can't wait to use it.

That's like mailing somebody a million dollars, along with a contract which says "I will not spend this money" and telling them to sign it.

Is all of this supposed to be a joke?

If someone really had an NDA I'm sure you would have posted a screenshot. If you do have an NDA, please post a screenshot.

Why the hell would a company that you don't even work for ask you to sign a NDA? And why would your friend who works there and so would have also signed a NDA even send it to you in the first place.

Sorry......I call BS.

Because I am an iPhone developer, and also, he is really close to me, he is basically our family friend.

He is the one who introduced me to programming code. He thought I would be interested with what's coming up with the iPhone OS. This is why he sent me the email.

He signed the NDA, but the officials told him that he can share the info as long as they sign the NDA as well.

So, shove off.

Can you post a picture of the NDA? (Unless you have an NDA on the NDA)

So what was the screenshot of then? Maybe a new version of Safari mobile... or a premium app store section.

If you still have it but cant take a screenshot, you could take a picture of it with a camera. Millions of people would do anything to see it.

Now, my friend also sent me shots of what is the next iPhone. Someone already posted this pic, but the next iPhone will have a shell that is full unibody, carved from one aluminum. This means plastic will be gone (hopefully)

I just searched the forums for about 10-20 mins. I have no idea where this supposed pic has already been posted. You mind sharing a link?

oook, being an iphone developer isnt that unique on this board. dont see how this makes your story legit

good for you but don't see how it makes your story legit

well that kinda defeat the purpose of a NDA....

the company, aka Apple controls who can see it and sign the NDA, not your friend so i call bs on your story
So, shove off.

thats nice:cool:

the way the OP is being treated, I'd be afraid to share anything new on here.

OP,

Thanks for the info bro. I certainly appreciate any new info.

APp positioning might take place in iTunes potentially.

That would be a very, very cool idea, along with the ability to re-organize apps that aren't in the dock from your iPod.
Maybe that's something they can put into iTunes 8.2.

Its only because he might have info that the whole world has been waiting to hear....

Thanks for the info alchemistmuffin, I also appreciate it a lot. :D

Ok so since you can apparently now give an NDA from one person to another, why not just post it along with the pictures and I'll make sure everyone on the forum signs it and gets it back to you.

Given the picture, with the NDA, but not waiting to get a signed NDA back?
What, and the friend would give the NDA to Apple, if the picture got out?
Eau de BS. I stand by aluminium giving difficulties to the antennae at the back top of the iPhone. Little space enough as it is.

Thinking past this for a bit - are people envisaging a bigger screen, or a multitouch pad below ala Pre? or a better resolution? Or OLED?
