anybody is keeping tags on the morse code titles?

I only saw the polar bears one and now the bunny one. anything hidden in this picture? my googling only made me find that the song (want a danish) is by van morrison, 1968 (!), edit:now the sound appears to be something like the soundtrack of a bugs bunny cartoon:confused:
also, the bunny title translates to rhocolate/asclepius which doesn't make much sense other than that rhocolate could be 'chocolate' misspelled, and in the bear's one there was also a misspelling (pear instead of bear).
any thought? is there a mistake in every title?

also, check out thedharmainitiative.info
Asclepius was a Greek hero who later became the Greek god of medicine and healing... Google his name for more.

yeah, I know that, but is the association rhocolate/asclepius/bunny in a 1L becker/silly songs that makes no sense to me.

unless of course the point is just NOT to make any sense

The Morse code has changed at bigspaceship1.com. Now it says "NARVIK FOR LIFE".

There's a connection. In Season 2 Episode 3 of Lost, you briefly see City Hall in Narvik, Norway. But I see no polar bears in this photo.

Untitled_018.jpg

No polar bears, but that fountain definitely looks familiar, a lot like a certain logo we keep obsessing over....

haha. Sad part: i thought that too.

by the way, the www.bigspaceship1.com site is back to the bears flash.
same 'code', but the title is slightly different...

Changed again. Here is what I see.

How odd. It is playing the song, "I wish upon a sattelite" (Chipmunk speed) and as the song ended it automatically launched phobos and pulled up the song in iTunes.

Now the morse code, to the best of my understanding, says "be positive think negative"

I am almost positive these messages and images are completely unrelated, and designed merely to set us all off track.

:D very possible, however, again the morse codes says
"se positive, think negative" (not "be positive"), another error!

so far, the ones i've seen

pear for bear
rhocolate for chocolate
se for be

p.s. the song is significantly better in the "chipmunk" version :D

Ruminations

Not sure if this is posted or not. On the last episode towards the end Hurley mentioned that there was enough food for One person for 30 days. Would one surmise from this that Desmond was about to be done with his duties, or is there a resupply of some kind?

Good point....

If Hurley was judging by his own natural eating habits instead of for an average person, it might have been a 90-day supply for Desmond.

Still, that's quite an insignificant amount of time in relation to a multiple-year stay on the island.

I was pondering something. Could it be that he is getting restocked somehow. A pod lands with food in it. Most of the stuff would have gone bad after 30 years. Fats break down etc.

Yeah, but all of that stuff looked relatively aged. And hurley did read off the name of that salad dressing... "Dharma initiative ranch composite" or something like that... hinting at the food being preserved, designed to be kept down there.

It certainly seems as if Desmond was to be relieved within 90 days or so... which would equate to roughly 3 seasons of shows, if things continue as they have.

So we can probably look forward to some sort of MAJOR happening around the end of the 4th season (assuming the show makes it that far).

Anybody notice that there is a pattern to the Dharma logo?
http://thedharmainitiative.info

This weekend I got an HD satallite and reciever for my new HDTV. This morning before heading to work I was watching Discovery HD Theater and Xtreme Martia Arts was on. I noticed that on the set, on the floor, was the exact same logo as the Dharma Initiative (sans interior design). You can see it if you go to:

http://dsc.discovery.com/convergence/xma/video/video.html

And choose the Demonstration: Twin Broad Sword

There's no particular meaning here, but I found it interesting none-the-less.

yes, as i mentioned a ton of pages back, it's based on a feng shui compass

I missed that post the first time .. interesting.. I did a little research on the feng shui compass and found this:

The numerical values of the eight compass directions for Feng Shui.

* Northeast: 22.5-67.5
* East: 67.5-112.5
* Southeast: 112.5-157.5
* South: 157.5-202.5
* Southwest: 202.5-247.5
* West: 247.5-292.5
* Northwest: 292.2-337.5
* North: 337.5-22.5
Now I am not a math wiz by any shot but if there are any out there (Doc) you may find some connection to the number 108.

Powerball

Not sure how many people on the forums are from states that carry the multistate powerball lottery so this will not apply to all.

For Wednesdays drawing the powerball jackpot is going to be 340 million dollars. Not sure if this is the largest lottery jackpot ever but it is the largest powerball jackpot ever. My question is this.

Is anyone going to play, and if so will you pick the numbers
4 8 15 16 23 42

I just wonder how many people are playing these numbers in various lotteries across the US.

Edit: If you won with these numbers would you freak out and be ultra scared??
