What Sky have done is fantastic. Channel 4 left it too long. Though I know a lot of angry Sky-less people who want me to make DVD's from the american show :D Sky is rubbish, though.

People are like that here, harping on about how carp Sky is and how great freeview is. Now they are all angry they can't get LOST so want me to record it for them, "what is not on freeview?"

Love how they all mock me as well for having Sky+ for recording stuff. Hmm....yep I just go thru the planner and hit Record, no worries. There reason is crap is limited to "I have this box hooked upto that box, with this in between and I can record this and dump it to that, or watch it from wireless in the shed if I turn this on when its a full moon and the swamp gas levels are low..."

Sorry went into my Windows lover bashing mode there..... Would never guess I'm a Windows Server Analyst for a living! Sorry OFF TOPIC! :D

How many night time phone-in quiz shows, or day time phone-in quiz shows for that matter can you record simultaneously with Sky+?

Yeesh.

Like everyone else has said - I don't really care about the Jack/Kate/Sawyer love thing.

However, I care immensely about getting some friggin' answers. The mysteries of the island seemed to have been abandoned.

4 8 15 16 23 42........screw that, Kate and Sawyer are shagging like rabbits over there!

Abrams and co need to hit the ground running in February. Give us a three minute resolution to the last episodes "cliffhanger" and get on to Locke finding, and then beating the piss out of the guy with the eyepatch.

in our student house we have NTL. that has sky one, so im happy. it also means i will be able to watch lost on a larger screen, without that annoying (but distracting and beautiful:D) spinning ABC HD logo:

only for it to be repaced by a skyone logo

from reading the posts the main problem is that everyone wants the answers!!!
Patience is the key, i am still enjoying each episode cant wait to see how things unfold.
all the other others other others and more others doesnt matter it should all hopefully fit in sooner or later

I'm not looking for all the answers... I'd be happy with just a couple. The writers need to step up and show us that they can resolve at least some of the mysteries in a satisfying way if they want viewers to stay onboard for much longer. One or two answers would go a long way toward showing me that the writers really do know where the hell this is all going.

Right now, all we seem to be getting is more questions. Eye-patch man? If we're lucky, we might see him again in season 5.

ya eyepatch man...what? And that dude that was there before Desmond, what was the deal there anyway...

I really think there are other others as well. Crazy barefoot, doll draggin, shaggy people. And they work for the black smoke.

Didn't Ethan have super strength? Like tossing people really far with one punch ? Since then I haven't seen much about their super strength..maybe I'm wrong.

Weird show, still know as little as the first episode about the island...the show is frustrating, there are too many commercials, and I hate the long break in between. Of course I'm going to watch every episode when it returns.....

Anyone watch Daybreak?

At the end of the episode they promote it as "over the next 11 weeks all questions will be answered" How refreshing. I thought this could easily be another piece of crap like the Nine, but it's actually not bad. I hope the plan is just a one shot one season show. Can't see it going past that. Although I thought the same thing about 24. I still think it would have been more interesting if each season of 24 were about a different person in different tense 24 hour situation every season.

I remember the super-strength too! A friend and I were trying to list off all the things that had to be explained, and I mentioned this. He didn't remember, and thought I was confused.

Waaaayyy back in Season 1, didn't Ethan pick Jack up with one hand or something similar?

Yeah he did have super duper strength. Jack looks like he can handle himself but Ethan picked him up and chucked him around like he was nothing.

Plus, that bloke who Ethan supposedly killed on the beach when they didn't bring Clare to him. They said he had every bone broken in his body so how could he do that so quickly without being super strong, or the help of the black smoke.

It's probably only minor but the way he leaned over during the fight with Jack was a little... haunting? The way he's portrayed with his strength and motion give him unearthly qualities that's for sure. I dunno. that lean always stuck with me, sorta like the jagged intro animation or that 50% of Claire's dialogue is "baby".

Every time she opens her mouth I expect to heard "A Dingo ate my baby"

A list of things I want to see
1) An explanation of how Locke became a cripple. Was there some accident and Jack pooched the surgery?

Hmm. I guess thats the only backstory I really care about. Everyone else is gone or are well fleshed out.

Real time mysteries I want answers to.
1) Whats up with the numbers?
2) How did the others get there?
3) How many of them are from Rousseau's expedition and how many are ex-Hanso people or other stragglers. Desmond, the original Henry Gale.
4) How in contact with civilization are they? Listening only?

One has to wonder why Mr. Ecko's flashbacks have the wild plains of Africa covered with English speakers, whilst Sun and Jin have subtitles.

5) how did the drug plane get there?
6) why didn't the others help the survivors?
7) what happened with the sickness?
8) why there are no consequences of the hatch being blown up? what was the point of entering the numbers?
9) where are the kids?
10) why is nobody pissed at michael?

6) They're bastards...
7) Assumed it was made up see $6
8) It killed the other's defibrillator, and who knows what else.
9) Probably at the other's village
10) He's gone. No point in monologuing about it.

ok, but are you downloading them from the UK?
I wanted to give the season pass to a friend in europe as a gift, and wondered if it was possible (i am in the US, so i would buy it here on my account)

And yet.. we see backstory on dead or about to die people?

not only that, but when a supposed friend murders two of your other friends and then manages to find a way to make it back to the real world, that should stimulate a minimum of a conversation. no?

on this subject, what could be the range of the small boat Micheal was given? what about food and water? wouldn't it be obvious to him that he wasn't going to get anywhere without, as a minimum, a sail?

I'm assuming Michael and Walt are off the show for good, so the writers are just ignoring them.

Don't know this for sure, but it seems a little odd that there was absolutely no conversation about it.
