Whoa dude, who said anything about a sexual preference? The ignorance is your statement.
I said it it looks feminine and it does...to me. If you want to carry a feminine looking device around, go for it.
I'm sure every female with a 6s will have that color as well.
I remember when dudes were asking if the white phone looked feminine when it came out. Well there are many guys that drive white cars as it is a standard color. Doubt any would drive one in this pinkish Rose gold, lol.
Men wear rose gold watches and jewellery so why not a phone that is that colour? Mobile phones generally don't tend to be gender specific.

Rose gold isn't pink like the iPhone rose gold color. They're very different. And while I agree that phones aren't gender specific, but if there were a his and hers set of iPhones, one would be space grey and the other rose gold.

There is no standard rose gold colour though. In the jewellery industry rose gold can differ dramatically depending on whether tin is added to the mix. It can be 50% gold and 50% copper or have up to 15% tin added which affects the colour significantly.

If it is perceived as female with the iPhone for some then fair enough. But people need to realise a lot of blokes are going to own it too which affects the perception.

I'm seconding that anyone saying that rose gold *can't* be pink like the phone color probably needs to look more into what's considered rose gold... I grew up with a jeweler and the shade that vary significantly since it's not specifically defined (except for a variant like Crown Gold - which isn't even the rose gold color that I keep seeing people posted, it's usually an 18K rose gold which a higher copper content and little silver, the phone is probably closer in shade to an 18K rose gold with slightly less copper and more silver - which is sometimes called pink gold, but there's no "standard" for this - rose gold is a blanket term for gold and copper alloys). I mean, if you don't believe me, look up rose gold engagement rings - the pinker variant quite popular in that application and some of those are unquestionably more pink looking than the rose gold iphone.

Hell, my boyfriend is terrified of pink or feminine things... and he seemed very underwhelmed about the pinkness of my phone. If anything he was more bugged by the white. We all perceive things a little differently, why play in absolutes like everyone who feels differently than you is blind as a bat?

Some guy on another forum said that he was getting the pink colour, sorry rose gold, purely because people would then know it's a 6S+ and not a 'bog standard' 6+. What a ponce! I ordered white/silver like my last two iPhones. Set in my ways!

Looks pink outside, cooper indoors. I'm a dude who bought one and I doubt anyone will ever notice. No one really gives a damn outside of these forums.
Perhaps, but the guy buying a rose gold so people will know he has a 6s thinks so lol. I never wonder what Galaxy phone someone has when i see one but thats me. IMO phones arent pretigious.

Tossed mine in a case, just got it more out of curiosity :)

Sums up nicely why so many blokes are getting the pink phone.

Pink was interesting at 1st since it was different but the more I see it I think space gray with black front is better.

I was on the edge about it at first but I ordered the rose gold and don't care now. Hell I mockingly refer to it as pink when people ask which color I got

I ordered gold and I love it. I saw the rose gold at the AT&T store this morning and it's more of a copper pink. It's a great color and not to feminine.

I honestly can't tell what color it is. It's less pink than I thought it would be. Spigen did a great job matching their Rose gold ultra hybrid case rim to it.

I just know it's gorgeous and my husband seems to have some envy. If it had a black bezel I think he'd steal it from me!

Im curious if half of these stupid comments saying that it's pink even have the phone? I got the phone yesterday and it is CLEARLY a copper color. Like seriously reading through these posts you can tell 60% of these comments are trolls. Just because you didn't want Rose Gold and decided to pick up Space Gray doesn't mean that it's Pink. YOU didn't want to risk ordering it because you care too much about what other people think about the color of your iPhone. Go get your eyes tested already.. :p:p:D

This chick politely disagrees with your umbrella statement. But, hey, statistics right? ;)

Funny, both my mom and sister think the phone is too pink. I wonder if we did a survey of men vs. women how the rose gold iPhone would rate.

I agree it's definitely pink. I personally think that it looks hideous but to each their own.

Been outside with the rg 6s all day. I'm baffled by the number of people saying that it's "not pink". Very pink...I'm not liking it at all. Reminds me of ballet flats. I own many pink handbags and clothing but honestly, pink just doesn't work on electronics. Had gold on my 6 and I think it was a more subtle, classier color.

What case are you pairing the rose gold with? I originally was going to pair it with the midnight blue from my iPhone 6 (which paired well with "regular" gold). After seeing it in person (and getting my sister's opinion - though she hates the rose gold), I decided to get the rose gray leather case. I think it looks better with that case. This is a shade of pink that likes a similar shade, rather than a contrasting color.

Part of me does kind of regret not getting an RG or even a gold. But until Apple thinks it's okay for me to do so with a black front bezel... space gray it is. Seriously can not do the white face... that thin black border between the screen and bezel is a no go.

They make glass screen protectors that have black bezels and then it hides the ugly white! I love black bezels for watching YouTube :)

Sorry, but this isn't pink. Maybe you need to see a doctor.

I just came back from the Apple Store I think maybe you should get checked for cataracts the phone is PINK! PINK! PINK! And this was confirmed from 2 Apple employees at the store.
