They’re going to make it where it doesn’t have Wi-Fi 9.5j. Don’t worry don’t do something to get everyone excited in the forums
Apple would want to use the same wireless chip across the board since it's more cost effective instead of using different components on different models. (well, except the base iPad where Apple keeps it at Bluetooth 4.2).

It was a joke. I remember when Wi-Fi 6 came out people were complaining the MacBook didn’t have it well now Wi-Fi 6e is out and people are complaining that the Mac only has Wi-Fi 6 😂😂

This is why Apple doesn’t pay attention to stuff like this. Sometimes the loudest person in the room isn’t relevant to what’s going on. There are people that will complain regardless of what Apple does.

the curved leading edge reduces the visual impact and doesnt feel much bigger than the wedge design did. still feels like it floats off the surface.

the keyboard is better than my 9 year old Airs. and better than Macbook Pro (4 year old). speed is way more responsive in general use.

I can't even look at iJustine videos anymore. Her sycophantic chirpy fawning knowingly getting her invited to events. She's the perfect Apple robot. Bleurrgh.

When did we all become so cynical?

Apple releases what seems to be one of the best Macs ever and all we do here in the comments is whine about anything and everything without EVER having even used or touched one of these machines.

Yeah, who wants professional reviews when you can get amateur ones.
What the heck is a professional review? Is it one of those ones where they dare not mention the bad aspects in case they don't get given early access to free review models next time, unlike reviewers such as The Everyday Dad who puts his hand in his own pocket to buy the gear? If so I'm watching an amateur any day.

We can already guess that the next base 14" MacBook Pro will start off with a single NAND 8GB of memory and a 250GB Fusion Drive and two cans connected to a string for Wifi

And obviously these reviewers will call it the "ultimate machine as long as you do not buy the base model"

Well it’s pretty underwhelming seeing it being throttled after fully loaded for 5+ minutes.

Being fanless takes its toll apparently, I’d just wait for M2 iPad Pro if I want a device only for lightweight apps and editing.

That’s pretty lousy regarding the ssd. However I have a 14” for my bigger tasks, and a 12” MacBook for travel. I may grab the base version as it’s light years faster than my 12”.

They forgot to include the apple shill kings, Maxxtech.

It’s actually kind of digusting how transparent these fake reviews are
I'm not a big fan of MaxTech, but that channel doesn't seem like a shill channel to me. I've seen multiple videos where the products are absolutely ripped to shreds. He's openly said don't buy this, or I am returning this, etc.

They don't get to keep those units, they have to send them back after the review so this viewpoint never makes sense to me.
Having free review units before the devices actually go on sale means they have extra time to play around with said products and create a video that is ready for viewing even before it is commercially available.

Having a video available on day 1, vs a few weeks or even months later can make all the difference between your video getting tons of views and it getting very little because the hype may have died down by then. It's basically what happened to Unboxtherapy. Apple got so annoyed with his bendgate video that he never gets review units from them anymore.

Not only MaxTech, a lot of these reviewers are occasionally very critical of Apple products and Apple business moves. The fact that they really like Apple products is something some people here have a hard time grasping. Of course, Apple will send review products to reviewers they think align with their vision the most - but that doesn't mean these people are shills. Biased a little? Maybe, but we're all biased a bit. It's nothing nefarious.

I listen to these reviewers because they seem to have similar taste to mine. And not once did they recommend a product I didn't like. They were very critical of the things I felt were bad, too.

For some people, the only way you can be "objective" is if you call Apple products as "bad, overpriced, poorly designed devices" and mention that "Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave". Everyone else is either a shill or a fanboy, depending on the person. They can't even fathom the idea that some of us.... really like Apple products. I really like my iPhone and iPad Pro. I really like my Apple Watch. I really like my MacBook Pro 16 M1 Pro. I really like these products.... so I must be a fanboy, I guess. And if I was a reviewer and told you that I liked them, I would be a shill.

Maybe these people are shills for the competition? Anyone paid by Dell or Lenovo around here? :)

There is no reality on the face of the planet where the butterfly keyboard was ever or will be ever worth it. It was and still is the worst design Apple has ever released given the massive volume of them. I'm in IT and I have taken these things to Apple to get their free 4 year warrenty replacement on a BI-WEEKLY basis. It's insane. (No hate, seeing the butterfly keyboard just gets me kinda triggered)
Lol. This is the reality for me as well, also in IT.
