Mac mini
- 5x USB
- 1x FireWire 800
- 1x mini DVI
- 1x Display poort
- Nvidia chipset (net als de nieuwe MacBooks)
- vanaf 2.0 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 1 of 2 GB DDR3 ram geheugen (max 4 GB)
- 120 GB harde schijf (max 320 GB)

iMac
- 1x 20" model, 3x 24" modellen
- Intel Core 2 Duo (géén quad core dus): 2.66 Ghz, 2.93 Ghz en 3.06 Ghz
- 1x Display poort
- 20" 2 GB DDR3 ram geheugen, 24" 4 GB DDR3 ram geheugen (max 8 GB)

So I'm guessing if HardMac proves correct, the base 20" iMac will have the 9400m, the mass market 24" will also have the 9400m while the other 2 24" models have dedicated cards (9600m, 9800m GTS?). That leaves the Mini with basically the specs of the Macbook as predicted.

is it quad or dual core? there is no 3.06Ghz quad core available (the low power ones)

And if the March 24th event is true as well, I'm guessing we'll see the next Mac Pro as well as a Snow Leopard preview.

So, it appears that Apple is moving all their Macs (with a possible exception of the Mac Pro) to Nvidia cards. No more ATI, sad. 🙁

Heres hoping for new displays too!

Hoping 20" LED, and 23" MATTTE Option! just tossing it out there...

Why would a Mac Mini have a FireWire 800 port?

FW is still better then USB, and since Apple is axing FW 400, FW 800 seems a logical step up
still crap config..

hope they make it $499 again or $399

I don't know about "crap"...I mean the MacBook is 999 for similar specs...399 would be a steel. I'd have to pick one up! Of course, it won't happen. 499 would be a nice return price point(since the Mini was first made as a sub 500 Mac)

Seriously? Tommorow... That means no special event, no press meeting, just a little quick update, fairly pathetic... Although I guess spec bumps don't really warrant an event as such.

Price will be key for Apple in this climate. I really hope they drop the prices across the board to make everything more affordable.
