Well those don't cost $2,800 - $15,000+ without a monitor...

Um, Tallest. Have you seen this:
The Mac Pro will come in eight-core configurations from 3.0GHz to 3.6GHz and 16-core configurations in 3.6GHz and 4.0GHz flavors, and it sounds like it's going to be even funkier on the video tip -- our tipster says it has two regular DVI ports and a mini DisplayPort. Sure, okay. It's also apparently a bit lighter than the current model, at 35 pounds instead of 42.
16-freaking cores. That's nuts.

I agree it is an ugly mockup. It was from the site w/ the story I quoted. I'll remove the fuglyness...
NAW leave it up!
I may have my @$$hole opinion about it but don't change your post on account of me!
It's ugly, but I am sure other will love it.
p.s. I know that it won't be the next Mac Pro because Apple may love jacking up the Pro Macbooks and consumer machines, but they BETTER NOT put slot loading drives in my professional $3000 machine!
Anyone have any idea what kind of graphic cards the imacs will have?
Anyone have any idea what kind of graphic cards the imacs will have?
the nvidia 9400m or 9600m
Maybe a 9800 in the super high end?
BTW - is there any history of Apple updating this many products without an event?
So far, we're looking at:
MacMini
iMac
MacPro (Maybe)
Time Capsule
AirPort Express
Just seems like a lot for a non-event update.

eh they might in this economy. (although I think it's unlikely that the Mac Pro will be updated tomorrow)
PS: anyone have any idea when the Final Cut Suite, Final Cut Express, Logic, and Aperture will be updated? There hasn't been a good Pro app update in forever!
Don't you mean AirPort Extreme, and not AirPort Express? Or is Apple updating both?

Even with taking out a new MP, we're looking at 4 products. I'd say that two maybe three are major products.
What's getting updated with the Airports?
2.4 ghz and 5 ghz operation (simultaneous) supposedly, its going through the FCC right now.

A filing for a new AirPort Express (ID Label diagram) was originally lodged in January and granted on Monday, while a filing for a new Time Capsule (ID Label diagram) was first made back in August of 2008 and also granted this week.
I JUST bought my 24" iMac two weeks ago at Best Buy.
