10.7.2 is required for the latest iCloud beta. There will be a bug-fix 10.7.1 soon then 10.7.2 will follow closer to iCloud/iOS 5 launch.

that's good, because the lion that was released wasn't ready! Never ever had an issues with apple operating systems, but wifi not working with airport express on a newer iMac is a joke and it's a known problem throughout beta

Never mind, found the download link:

Well, this is the link: http://adcdownload.apple.com/Mac_OS_X/icloud_beta_5/mac_os_x_lion_10.7.2_combo_update.dmg
It doesn't work for me though. Access is denied and only if you are also an iCloud beta tester you will be able to download it.
The link works just fine as long as you've a Mac OS dev account.

I'm using it now. No real changes as far as I can tell.

I installed it and then iCloud Beta5. Apparently preferences dont open right if you dont install properly. (10.7.2 first, then iCloud B5)

Well, I am a paid developer. I will try again.

Update: The link now works for me. I was logged in with a different account than the one I am using on the dev center and that is why it didn't work.

I updated to 10.7.2 11C26

- None of my bugs I encountered, are fixed.
- UI performance is still the same with Intel 3000HD (read: bad)
- Crashed two times when opening a app (Pixelmator and Cyberduck). Never happened with 10.7.0

A bit disappointed.

10.7.2 likely has updates necessary for iCloud that 10.7.1 won't. I suspect 10.7.1 will have a lot of bug fixes and 10.7.2 will be released in September to support iCloud.

I noticed that there is a new option under iCloud in prefpane, named "Documents & Data", as well as on iOS 5 beta 4. That wasn't there before, was it?

ATI2400 is up from 7.2.9 to 7.4.9 and it feels. UI is much more responsive, user switching bug is fixed, scrolling is much better. Go Apple :)

My bad - the bug with the keyboard illumination for MBP is fixed.

Did many test (with benchmarks etc)... no UI improvements are made. Still slow with Intel 3000HD

I've not had a problem with Lion and Wi-Fi except at grad school. Apparently Lion is "too new".

That's what I was thinking. Similar to the one update in Snow Leopard just to get the Mac App Store out there and nothing more.

Can anyone tell me if they fixed Internet Sharing?

Lion broke my internet sharing Airport/Wifi > Ethernet

Really? You're disappointed in a just-released beta that isn't due for 1.5-2 months?

hm i tried that above link and can't find the iCloud download. is being a beta tester for that separate from being a 10.7 beta tester? thanks

*oh and do you need a mobileMe account to test out iCloud? thanks
