Fedora KDE is calling you.
Cinnamon called me. ;)

Especially on the desktop. With presbyopia having set in the menubar on the top has me looking through the distance lens at all those little icons. Putting it on the bottom works better.

Menubar on the top is not so bad on a laptop that is on the lap as I'm looking down anyway.

This hysteria happens every year. If it were up to you, you'd still be using macOS Lion.

They shouldn't push everyone to update until spring of next year, as the name macOS 26 suggests.
It's ridiculous to read about Linux—you can't use it. What kind of Linux do you want if you have to do so much yourself? Changing your wallpaper and removing unnecessary widgets from your desktop is difficult for you, and half your devices don't work out of the box.

Why would you trust an AI to do this?

I wasnt after a specific model for purchase , just some examples of similar machines.

Why wouldn’t you use AI for this?
