TV Shows. It is the whole series of a show, ~120 episodes at 350mb each.

Friends? i've got the dvd superbox though, I enjoy it far more than those divx episodes :p

back on topic now.. great to see they released it so soon after the last seed!

the only time my PB 17" fan comes on is when Im running a large divx file with the thing on my lap...

Well, it's a bit snappier, restart shaved a second off my 1.8 DP G5 with 2.5 GB RAM, from 13 seconds down to 12, that's not to shabby. However networking HASN'T changed, it still doesn't see my iBook or iMac on the network unless I manually feed it the IP address of each, that's total BS. Of course, my iBook and iMac running greatly superior network ease-of-use 10.2 JagWIRE, just go to the "Go" menu in the Finder and boom, everything is there. So I still don't get why Apple effed this up, and why they have made it HARDER to browse the network. Other than that, in general, SFDD.

I'm bummed. And still no driver improvements for the Epson 880, no ability to choose quality or B&W vs. Color.... hmmm, Apple's engineer's heads are up their arses.

Is this common on the 12" PB? On both my Pismo 500 and Aluminum PB 1.25 the fan almost never comes on.

It depends on the task and where I have the PB. If it's on my lap, the fan will be on more often. The same goes for DVD authoriing.

I really don't think apple's engineer's have been busy updating epson drivers.. they've got other things on their minds. About your network issues, can't comment on that one

OSX10 definitely feels more snappier on my ibook, thought Safari appears to render HTML slower...

I cannot add a network machine to the side bar in browse network though.. i thought you were supposed to be able to do this.

With XBench, speed is down, but gaming (BZflag) I get an average of + another 20 FPS and it stays around there (it used to change drastically)

Other than that, I have not yet run more tests.

my xbench score didn't change a single bit even when i added more ram  what gives

I had an issue where the icons for SMB shares that were previously working started to show up in the networking pane as folders rather than the blue network icons. When I tried to open one of these the folder would be empty.
This update has fixed this issue!
:D

I installed 7F43 yesterday. Picked it up on the net. Do I need a Reversioner before installing this final release ? Someone let me know ASAP cause I'm dying to update.
Congratulations on providing another example of why everyday users shouldn't install developer seeds:
  1. You run a serious risk of damaging your system and losing data,
  2. You're dependent upon developer-only resources to return to the main release,
  3. By reinforcing the black-market trade of developer seeds, you make Apple more and more weary of releasing updates to ADC members, making it increasingly hard for real developers to get their hands on seed releases, and
  4. When things go wrong, you waste the time of tech support staff (who often kick your calls over to the understaffed developer support techs).

When will people learn that it's dangerous and detrimental to use non-public builds?

And, yes, I know the answer to your question, but I have no desire to help you, whatsoever.

Can´t wait to test out the fontbook improvements. If this fixes the bug causing my problems I will finally be able to install all my fonts without Suitcase.
Perhaps adding, but not simultaneously activating all of your 700+ fonts would solve your problem with Suitcase -- it's a casual user application, not a pro solution. (Of course, in a test on my work G5, Font Book successfully juggled 1,200 PS1 fonts I threw at it, but that's just me.)

SMB 1, Fan 0

Well I installed on my 12" 1GHz, browsed my Windows beast effortlessly and am now sitting here enjoying the sound of my fan. Endlessly. Never used to be on all the time. Is 10.3.3 that hot?

OpenGL looks better. I no longer see gaps in the middle of items.

Things seem somewhat quicker but it's always that way after a restart.

Software Update preferences are not reset to automatically check.

One startup item that's checked to be hidden is shown in the Dock.

Networking between machines on the switch is much more reliable.

Parallel->USB adapter fixed

The 10.3.2 bug which required the USB plug to be removed between each print job is fixed! My trusty HP Laserjet 5MP lives on!

Man, take it easy.

Don't be such a professional snob.

Although I agree with what you say.

Update working perfectly on 1 Ghz iMac/PB and even on good 'ol Betsy: my 333 Blueberry iMac.

Somebody give this guy an Oscar *claps*

I made the choice to take the risk of losing any data. ADC members pay a fee to be members, I don't think Apple would stop sending them releases. And when things go wrong, simply reinstall from CD. Save your breath unless you're willing to be helpful.

i can't help but feel all the positive ratings are based on possible g5 PM & PB releases. don't get me wrong, i'm slighty excited, but we have been let down before...

What's your network setup? I have an IP number for my computer but most others in the house get a LAN number off the Airport base station. I couldn't see everyone until I defined a LAN ethernet for my computer and let it pick up a LAN number too. Now everything works great and everyone shows up on a browse as well as all the Rendezvous shared printers.

My two favorite upgrades in 10.3.3:

1) DVD player now recognizes DVD+R media

2) 10.3.3 now supports G5 3.0GHz PowerMacs and 23" Aluminum Cinema Displays. ;)
Almost bought number 1, but snapped out of it upon reading number 2!

Seems Fine...

I'm a print designer by day, and can't comment on BootCache, SMB, AFP or any other acronyms. But 10.3.3 seems perfectly smooth to my eyes, thus far. And unlike a few earlier posts, my 1st restart was maybe "twice" as fast as before, which is nice.

And anyone who posts negative posts about Apple trying to improve their OS is just plain silly.

Fo' shizle.

Oh, G4/1GHz, 1GB RAM... for those keeping score.
