Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Shipping

I ordered the 12th, and mine hasn't shipped.

May I ask you another question? Have you tracked it with the Fedex number yet? Where is it shipping from? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.
 
If it doesn't ship today, that means, I won't get it till probably Monday, that means, I will be buying a copy at a local Apple reseller. :(

I called into the Apple Store today to check when my order (placed on the 12th) might ship. The guy who I talked to told me that they were now being told that Tiger will not ship until the 29th. I complained that when I originally ordered it said it would be delivered by the 29th. He said he was not sure why the change had been made but that the higher ups were now saying there would be no shipments until the 29th.

CRAP!

I'm not going to go out and buy the thing in a store on Friday (mainly because I ordered with an education discount) but this really chaps my behind. This is BAD customer service at its finest.

I was really hoping to have time this coming weekend to rebuild my iMac, but it now looks like I won't even get it delivered until next week sometime. Not good.

:D - Yeah, calm down. My order has said "Preparing to ship" for 4 days now. Apparently doesn't mean a thing. Sorry, don't mean to burst the happy bubble there.
 
Got shipping confirmation yesterday, order won't be picked up until tomorrow

I got my shipping confirmation yesterday, this afternoon the tracker said pick up date April 27. Now it has been changed to April 28. Now I fear I won't be getting Tiger on Friday.

If you check your status on the USA Apple Store you will see something different, I imagine if they have charged your card it will have shipped. :)

That doesn't make any sense.A few people here have already confirmed FedEx shipping today.Are you in the US ?

I just checked mine and it still says 'open' I ordered UK edu too but not going for me :mad:

If you have been charged it will have shiped. At least thats what I was told by phone. paying by credit card, they won't charge you until its shipped.
 
SHIPPED!

Just checked my Tiger order and it shipped from Memphis estimated arrival in Atlanta for Friday at 4:30 p.m. Good thing too 'cause I was starting to feel nervous and having doubts...
 
Shipped

Shipped with FedEx tracking #, 2 days shipping. I sometimes receive overnight if shipped from California. Ordered 4/12/05 at 8:26AM PDT :D

Now if they would just tell us when the new iMac will be shipping...I will have two copies of Tiger!
