No doubt, I'm anxiously awaiting news of improvements on the iBook, I'm on the road too much and miss my mac. :(
 
I'm in the UK, checked on apple.com store (US) and says "processing order"...:/

Well, did it ship from California? Does the Fedex tracking tell you where it is right now? Thanks! :)
 
Interesting chat with Apple Rep

I just got off the phone wilth a real nice rep and she told me Apple already shipped Tiger overnight to the various FedEx facilities on the 26th.Apple told FedEx to make sure all customers received Tiger on the 29th..
So whether or not your status is shipped,preparing or whatever you WILL get it on the 29th email or not :)

Thanks for the info, but it would help to see that my order has shipped, instead of preparing order. :(

Where is my Tiger?
 
God dammit - this is seriously annoying! I ordered mine on the 12th for christs sake...ah well this kinda stuff always happens to me, will probably get it next wednesday :)
 
powerbook problems

the little latch thingy that pops out when you close the lid, the hook i mean, has fallen out with a little spring type thing. what should i do? can i put it back myself or is it a job for applecare?

Looks like its a job for AppleCare. If I am correct, they willl have to replace the display in order to fix that hook in the latch. :(

I am real glad to hear that. I am going to be a happy man on Friday. I bet my status will change to shipping tonight.

I hope I'm a happy man tomorrow night allows me to play with it while I'm at work. Arg.... I ordered mine on 4/12 @ 9:42 am and I'm still waiting drat :(
 
So much for the Apple Store order status information!

Mine has said "preparing shipment" since yesterday. Package from Apple Store arrived this morning.

My wife didn't open it before she left this morning, but I haven't ordered anything else from Apple.

11:30 pm: My wife said the package was from Apple.....nope....it was from SONY!

But I did get shipping email from Apple!

I just checked and it shipped from Memphis, TN and it is already at another city now!!! Woo Hoo!!! I guess Apple does not ship first come first serve, because I ordered over a week after you, but I bet yours is on it's way.

-_-..... Come on already and at least show that it's been shipped... It's been on preparing since Monday night or so.... I hope as well that it changes tonight to "Shipped". I'm gonna be excited as hell when that happens. ^_^;; I'm gonna be checking its tracking every half hour! ^_^

How have you managed to track it ? I've tried the Apple TNT Ref. number on the TNT website but it keeps saying not found.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong ? Do I have another way to track as I want to make sure I'm home to sign for the delivery...
