Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Shipping

I placed my order the morning that Tiger was announced, and it said that it was guaranteed to be delivered by the 29th. It still says preparing shipment.

Should we do some kind of a dance that will bring Tiger to our doors
It should be better than constantly clicking refresh button our mail baxes and apples site.

Or even better, lets burn all Panther Installation CDs as a sacrafice to Tiger

Keep in mind, several people have noted that they have received Tiger and their order status is still "preparing shipment".

Also, it appears Apple has already sent most order to FedEx and they will be delivered (mostly) on Friday or Thursday at Apple's command.

Most (pretty much all) of you will get Tiger on Friday. . . . oh yeah!

Maybe you're right, with all those pre-orders they might have hard times updating the shipping info

On the other hand, it would kind of a nice surprise. JUST LIKE TIGER JUMPING OUT OF THE BUSHES STREIGHT AT YOU

I just got notice that my copy of Tiger is shipping. According to Fedex, it is coming from Ontario Canada. Won't arrive until Friday at 4:30 it says.

Well my order status is still "Pending Shipment", but I have noticed when checking my bank account that Apple has gone ahead and charged my checkcard.

I hope that's a sign of a shipped 10.4.

No, its Ontario , CA, near Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga, my sister goes to UC Riverside, near there. I've had my 2nd gen iPod Mini shipped from there, I live in Santa Barbara, so it took only 1 day to arrive.

No notification that it shipped, however I went to the Apple Status page today and it said that it shipped today from Pensylvannia via FedEx. I get home tonight and there's a FedEx sticker on my door and a package waiting in the apartment office. I wonder what it is!

Anyone know what the pkg picked up message means?

Basically that means that Apple shipped the package to FEDEX's short facility for shipment out to customers in the facility's area

same...it's funny to think - i live about an hour away from middletown, and it has shipped. but, i probably won't see it until friday/sat/mon/whenever my being home crosses paths with FedEx.

Mine arrived at the fedex sort facility exactly 12 hours ago (Wed.). Thesort facility is only a couple states away so maybe tomorrow but more likely friday. I wonder if they are holding it deliberately. I better get to work early to start making preparations. I'm sure my boss would be happier if it was not arriving until 4:30 on friday.

My order is still shown as "Processing Order"...ARG, I only live one state away from Cali...If it isnt shown as shipped from Ontario, CA, tomorrow, will I even get it Friday? I ordered on the 19th-20th, can't really remember...HM
