Tiger Delay Compensation
After watching my order sit at the "Preparing Shipment" status for 5 days, I was notified that my order shipped out today (with an estimated arrival of May 2 by 4:30pm EST). Interestingly enough when I called (800) 676-2775 (Apple) yesterday and asked them when my copy of Tiger would arrive they assured me that it would be at my door today.
I called the aforementioned number this morning and expressed my dismay at the fact that I was guaranteed shipment on the 29th when I placed my order at 10:12 AM PST on 4/12. I was informed that all those that experienced this "unavoidable, unintended delay" would be getting a $15 credit back on the cards they used to order Tiger.
So, to all that pre-ordered and did not receive Tiger - CALL APPLE! I am sure that this credit will not be automatic, but must be requested. They should be made to compensate each and every one of us that did not get what we were indeed promised.
