I hope they fix screen sharing in iChat. Twice I have tried to use it with a friend to help them fix a problem and it has failed. It doesn't provide any useful error messages as to why, either; just "failed to connect".

I've found it works occasionally but very unreliably. I've tried it with my parents to check it works (as I'd need it to help them remotely when they mess their mac up) and it's worked. Ironically though, the two occasions they've needed my help it hasn't worked. Very annoying

Hopefully the day is today. We would have heard some chatter by now, if developers were having issues with the latest build or if Apple was going to be releasing another one? Either today or this week hopefully. :)

I'm calling today. Just ran Software Update, it said there was new software, but nothing was in the list. This happened right before the release of 10.5.1 and prior updates. Now I just need AppleTV to update today also.

Interesting. I just ran it and it said no new updates. Anyway, I hope it does come today. Would rock.

I think we all need to get out more. If they introduce SSE4.1 then brilliant, if not, I can't understand all the fuss. Looking forward to running SSE4.1 seti app on my little toy.

Come on Apple, stop playing around with the iTit or what ever your doing and give us this release.

Must be out soon given that the Air's are shipping at the moment. They'll surely come with 10.5.2.

not even 9am yet in Cupertino (8:54am at time of writing this) the people who flip the switch might just be getting their morning coffee before coming into the office.

atleast the waiting game is teaching me greater patience....maybe

Hopefully it will be out today, then I will have a new appreciation for Tuesday.

All the MBAs at MacWorld and in the hands of reviewers are running 10.5.1 (albeit a different built). Clearly they do not need 10.5.2.

Breaking News!

Apple Inc, has delayed the release of it's next update to OS10.5 (Lepoard). There are a number of reasons circulating the internet. Ranging from Apple just not giving a stuff about their computer business anymore, to some late minute additions to the update - possibly the introduction of SSE5000.1 support.

The update is expected to be in excess of 25GB in size. On the most recent developer build, some noticed that Apple have re-introduced support for PPC, paving the way for some sad people to think that a PowerMac G6 is in the works should Intel fail to keep up to the demands of Apples contract.
