Of course, why wouldn't it? If it wouldn't it would be a complete scatstorm
I've mentioned the requirement of unified shaders before GPGPU applications.OpenCL won't work with my GMA 950.
I guess there's a reason Apple's only charging $29 for it.
No bluray support. XP/Vista/7 support bluray, what's up with that?![]()
Can't imagine through itunes. It would be a huge file to download. It will have to come on a disk.
Looks like the upgrade will be an upgrade disk.
"Upgrading from Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard.
If your Intel-based Mac is running Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard, just purchase Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard when its available and follow the simple installation instructions."

Hopefully they will issue an update to SL which will bring the HD2600 iMacs to the party.I've mentioned the requirement of unified shaders before GPGPU applications.
I am disappointed that the HD 2xxx/3xxx weren't include on that list today.Hopefully they will issue an update to SL which will bring the HD2600 iMacs to the party.
This is of no real significance in my opinion. Although I supposes there are plenty who still watch movies on their computer. I want to watch Blu Ray on my big screen HD TV and current HD content for the Apple TV looks pretty amazing. Be even better if they take it up to 1080p.
However, it would be nice to be able to burn HD video to a blu ray disc on your Mac.
For $29, you bet your boots I am going with SL when it comes out!
Right now I'm using Safari 3.2.3. I think I read SL will have Safari 4 bundled with it. Can anyone confirm this? I know I could go download Safari 4 right now, but if it's bundled with SL, I think I'll just wait till then to get it.
Thanks for any info!

even if it was a download (which it isn't), where does iTunes come into software upgrades for your mac. thats what the "Software Update" button from the Apple menu is for.
The new contextual menu for the Dock looks iMovie like as well.Hmmm No marble. I actually think Marble will appear in Snow Leopard just not at the initial release. I've noticed in Safari 4 the interface has changed and new apps liek iLife 09 and Quicktime X the interface is clearly not Aqua. I think Marble is going to come over time not instantly
Wow, and to think, I was ready to pay $129.
$29 is a remarkable price and I'll be at theStore with my money day one
