looking forward for this new system, it can simply supports the latest iTablet and then easily beat win7.
Thinking ahead into the future, I would love to see them come out with the names of planets... something like "XI Mercury", or whatnot.
Mercury (the first iteration), Venus (blazing hot .2 version), Mars, Jupiter, etc.
How is there still debate over what the UI for the next OS will be? Have any of you even looked at iTunes 9?
It'll move toward itty bitty scrollbars (yuck) and two-tone heavy gradient windows (yuck yuck yuck).
Quoted for truth. How about a "move to..." command for the Finder?
Currently, the "copy" and "paste" routine for moving a file from one location to another is clunky. The original remains at the old location, and the user must navigate _back to_ the original location and delete it.
Mac OS X 11.7 "Uranus" xDThinking ahead into the future, I would love to see them come out with the names of planets... something like "XI Mercury", or whatnot.

Multitouch is a nice add-on, but people will spend less then 5% of their time using their fingers to touch the screen even with great touch technology. I've played with an HP AIO with touch and frankly you get tired of it after a few minutes. Keyboard and mouse is much more comfortable and as mentioned, speed. Multi-touch is a lousy tool for input and work. It has some applications, but keyboard and mouse in their same form will be here many years from now. Things are the way they are for a reason, they are effective.Without tactile feedback this thing is useless. Can you imagine how hard it would be to type on that thing without having raised/separated keys? Yeah yeah, I know, the iPhone doesn't have tactile feedback either, but you can't exactly type 120 WPM on it either.

It seems to me that you confuse multitouch with touchscreens.Multitouch is a nice add-on, but people will spend less then 5% of their time using their fingers to touch the screen even with great touch technology.
