my order has shipped, can't wait untill tomorrow 
, but one question, i ordered it from the UK apple store but have not got the email with the promised link for the webcast event. have any of you got it ?

Nah, that's not an Apple thing. If they're really busy and your order technically doesn't need to be delivered that day, they'll delay it an extra day. FedEx does this to me all the time when I order stuff from Newegg. Newegg ships everything 3-day FedEx. Usually it arrives here in Naples/Fort Myers within two days, but I've had them hold it an extra day just because they can.Abercrombieboy said:

Shipping from Middletown PA would be great since it is only a five minute drive from my house. The order still hasn't shipped but there is still hope.

I know someone says something like this everytime Apple has a big release, but can you imagine people doing this for something Microsoft releases? It probably never happens. It's cool to see people who are so dedicated to something

Yeah. It's really kind of sad too. When I get software from the online store, it comes by FedEx Ground and arrives the next day. On the other hand, the 2 Day that Apple so gratiously provided me has given FedEx an excuse to sit...oh well.MattG said:

In my time zone, Apple has 5.5 hours to ship Tiger before "on or before 4/28" become a lie.
I'm expecting a change to "on or before 5/03" at around 11 pm tonight.
From what I can gather on multiple forums almost no one in the NY metro area has even received a shipped email at this point.

I ordered on 4/12 and haven't received an email.......Order status still says "Preparing for shipment".....a couple of people who live in the NY area on other forums haven't received an email yet.
What I can't figure out is there are people who ordered last Friday and they received their copy yesterday.

I know it's sad, but after years of having Mac OS X I just don't know whether I can change the language. I mean, not the keyboard layout but the language in which all dialogs, menus etc come in.
While I'm German I'm so used having everything in English. German translations of the menus are usually so ...clumsy. Do I need to return it and wait another eternity for Tiger?
