Man.. I can't believe Apple is dragging you along like this. Your status should be changing any day now... i just know it.
There's still a few of us left. We think that it's the 500GB HD, but that's just guessing. Not like figuring it out would make a difference. Apple reps swear that there is nothing wrong with the order, so who knows. Seems to have just gotten lost...

Not lost... I wonder if it really is the 500 slowing the show down. I look forward to seeing your order fulfilled. Every time I come online, I check to see if yours has shipped. Alas, we're still waiting..

Banacek, I ordered same day as you, but with the stock drive, only the 8800 was different than the stock machine. Mine shipped yesterday (although fedex shows it hasn't moved) so yours should be right behind it.

It has nothing to do with the hard drive. I only ordered the 8800 in my system and am waiting until March for it.

me too, although i checked the apple store today and shipping time for a cto mp with 8800 has gone down to 7-10 days...meaning i could order today and get a mp two weeks earlier!

Curious, any of you order the RAID card? My rep said that could be the reason for the delay? I'm also signed up in their small business unit? Regardless, I ordered the 8th of January and yet my status still says ship by Feb 14 to arrive by Feb 15. Guess I'll be one of the last based on earliest order....

My 3.2 8800 Mac Pro arrived just after lunchtime today. I've spent the afternoon installing software and getting my stuff all set up (decided to go for a clean install and not migrate the data from my existing machines in an effort to clean house).
It's blazing fast, even without the OWC RAM I have on order...

My system with 500GB HD shipped Friday according to Apple. Not yet picked up but with delivery date according to Fedex. The credit card has not been hit yet, so maybe it shipped maybe not.....

I am with you. Mine is ordered on Jan 15th with 8800 and 500GB.
While everyone is getting theirs, I am still in the darkness. I really started to feel nothing...numb...

Ordered both the RAID card AND Quadro 5600 on Jan 14th. Original ship date Feb 20th, actual ship Feb 9th, due to arrive tomorrow.

This has gone from interesting, to unnerving, to annoying, to unbelievable, to j#$# F^#^ C&$%$, what the F^#^ is going on here!
This is the first time I have ordered from the Apple store, and to say that I am less than impressed would be a bit of an understatement.
I know my official, from Jan 10th, ship date is Feb 15 and so I can't even really complain, but come on.
If I see one more "I just got my 3.2 8800 that I ordered on the 3rd of Feb" post, I am going to throw something.

The same thing was in my inbox today. I thought it was related to the MacBook Pro that I purchased in November - but apparently this really is about the MacPro that I ordered four weeks ago.
