I have the following config, should I see this update?
I did not see an indication when I check for updates?
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 3 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MP11.005C.B08
SMC Version: 1.7f10
Thanks in advance!
This update has killed my LaCie Dual Channel 3Gb/s SATA II
PCI-Express Card!
Now nothing is listed in ASP other than my graphics card and even with re-installing the driver, restarting and repair permissions I get nothing.
If it had said unplug all third party hardware I would have.
Be warned, unplug everything third party usb/firewire/PCI.

Yes it's my problem, but I don't have RAID or GUID boot drive. The answer may be here:

(RAID or non-GUID boot drive).

Damn, wtf :/
Sure I knowAre you sure you know what GUID means? You need to check in Disk Utility that you disk is partitioned using a GUID partition table -- it should be!
Oh, okay. Just checkin'.Sure I knowAll my drives are partitionned using guid table
Try the card in a different PCI slot if you can.
Sorry it's me, I made a mistake in my answer : I meant that I don't have any RAID and my system drive is formated using GUIDOh, okay. Just checkin'.
Thanks it worked!
Why did that work? I took it out before, booted & shutdown, put it back in the same slot and it didn't work. I hope this doesn't mean that slots had it. I'll try it back in it again...

If I purchase the 8800GT, will I need to reapply the graphics and EFI updates?
Did you also try resetting your PRAM, etc?
I know people had been posting feedback to Apple on the restart after waking from sleep issue for at least a month.
Well, I guess we should be glad they actually fixed the problem, albeit slowly.![]()
I work in the software industry and from my perspective 1 month to fix a problem of this nature is actually very fast. When you factor in problem diagnosis, functional specifications, coding, regression test, etc. 4-6 weeks goes by pretty fast.
