Mac Pro Shipping Estimates (Feb Orders)

Shipped FedEx Ground, but there is no information in the FedEx system yet... I wonder what country it ships from... probably China.Just got my shipment notification a minute ago, too.
I have been waiting for the last two weeks to be able to actually respond to this thread.
I ordered mine with a 3.0/RAID/SAS on January 18th and just got word yesterday. It will be delivered Tuesday the 19th

Isn't this thread for the orders in February? I dont care that you posted here, just wondering bc when people posted the 11th I assumed it meant Feb 11th etc etc.
Ordered: 15 February, mid afternoon Eastern time.
Location: Northern VA
Build: 3.2, 8800, everything else stock
Status: As of Saturday (16 Feb) evening, it switched from "Not yet shipped" to "Prepared for Shipment".

Seems like FedEx doesn't have any info on mine... should I worry?...and the FedEx tracking info refreshing begins.
8800 GT Shipping-Speculation
I bought my 8 core through ADC. The Nvidia card was and still is on a 5-7 week backorder. So I ordered it separately. The Mac Mall rep said that they would receive a shipment of 48 8800 GT's on Feb 28, much sooner than the March 26 ship date from Apple. So, I also ordered the card from Mac Mall too.
Mac Mall authorized the charge. Apple did not. Today, Apple authorized the charge, and the Mac Mall authorization fell off. My guess? Apple has the cards and is installing them in the BTO machines. Separate orders will ship shortly thereafter but long before March 26 and certainly before Feb 28.

Where are everyones' MPs shipping from? Are the shipping around the first ship day, ex. Feb 5-10 does it ship the 5 or closer to the 10th?

I placed my order early AM on 2/15 and on the 16th it switched to "prepared for shipping." Mine was BTO w/ the 8800GT and Wi-Fi and scheduled delivery date is 2/25-2/29. I ordered through the ADC and when I placed the order, it said 7-10 days to ship; so I'm not so sure about any 8800GT backorders.

I also have a second optical drive along with 1TB hard drive and logic, and final cut express. Everything else is stock. Did you order through ADC, Education, Business, or the regular store?
I should have mentioned something to clarify, I ordered in January on the 18th but on the 7th of February I decided to change a few things on the order so they told me they had cancel the whole order and start a new one but shipping was going to pick up an not to worry.Isn't this thread for the orders in February? could it be the 1TB hard dives then? I ordered mine with 2x1TB drives, and have been waiting 10 days so far (despite shipping going down to five if i ordered today!)
Not sure. I however, did notice that I have a scheduled ship date that is earlier than people who ordered before me. I've heard just about every theory possible and there's always someone elses order that debunkifies them. It's all screwy in Apple land.
