Mac Pro's $400 Wheels Have No Locks to Prevent Rolling

Surely it’s not a HILL, though! If so, I suggest you get some contractors in there and shore up your foundation
This is literally a non issue. NO ONE sets up a workstation on a ramp.
Now getting that stupid scenario out of people heads, this thing is heavy. It isn't just going to roll away when someone walks past it. It also will be plugged in.

Jaw drops. Even for enterprise this is ridiculous. Steve Jobs was command and control where he oversaw everything. This has got to be an oversight by management and some lower manager making a bad call. This type of bad decision making hurts Apple's reputation. I knew Tim was a moron but this takes the cake.

Anyone that would spend $400 for 4 wheels deserves to have it roll off their desk.

People pay extra for wheels, and them complain when they roll. If you don't want it to roll, just don't pay extra for the wheels.
OMG! That explains why I'm always finding my desk chair in other rooms in the apartment.

The video that is the basis of this report shows it rolling away on its own on a non-flat floor. Obviously the coefficient of rolling friction on these is lower than your janky desk chair.
