Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

So I'm getting frustrated now. Ordered my new Air at about 8am on Tuesday morning and it still hasn't shipped yet!?! Been 2 business days so far! Still processing, not even 'Ready for Shipment'.

Anyone else have an order that Apple seems to be sitting on?

Ordered Monday, 13"; 8 GB ; 128GB SSD. Still Processing. I called Apple and they said it hasnt been 72 hours yet and that the 1 to 3 days till ship was a great time and I basicaly just have to wait.

They said my quoted delivery was still on track to be met (15th - 19th) and until its not, I need to suck it up
 
Whats going on with mine??? ;(

It is currently flying through the Air to the USA. In my case, it flew to Alaska (for delivery to Toronto, Canada). In your case, it is probably going to either California, or straight to Memphis (the primary Fedex hub).
 
Mine is also in this latest shipment batch. Supposed to arrive June 19. Still trying to decide whether to ask for a refund on the expedited shipping. Arrival at over a week after order doesn't seem expedited to me.

Thought I'd join the 'processing' group.

Ordered my Air, along with a Student gift card a few hours after the store returned online. Both are still processing.

13" / 8Gb / i5 / 128 GB

Now I may be wrong but I think it may be due to me selecting a 'merged delivery.' This may have resulted in my Air being ready for delivery but my gift card having a few problems, resulting in both being delayed.

Frustrating but still hoping for a 19th delivery.

Oh, and I'm from the U.K. :)

I wasn't even aware of "merged delivery". When I look at my order (placed on the educational store), the gift card and MacBook were shipped separately. Well, the gift card is still "processing". So, yes, I agree that anyone who somehow selected to have their items shipped together will likely incur a delay. Maybe they are not shipping out the gift cards until a certain number is required.

Don't go by what the Apple order status claims. According to Apple, my MacBook isn't set to arrive until June 20. However, it appears it is going to arrive today. I think they just overestimate to cover their ass.
 
Ordered the RMBP (2.6/16/512) around 5:30 P.M. EST on 06/11/12. Initially Apple said that it would arrive between 06/29/12 - 07/06/12. Mid day yesterday (06/13/12) the status had changed from "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment." Then I woke up this morning (06/14/12) and I had received an email that said my RMBP had left the facility in Shanghai. Apple estimates I will receive the package on Tuesday (06/19/12) but FedEx estimates Monday (06/18/12.)

Hopefully others who were told 2 - 3 weeks are experiencing the same.

Okay, time to go hit refresh on the FedEx tracking page 1000 times between now and Monday.

Hmm, strange. Maybe I accidentally opted for a merged delivery. If that's the case I wish I hadn't.

It definitely seems like the card's haulting the overall delivery which is a shame.

Anyone else in my situation?
 
I order, my MBA is estimated to be here tomorrow by 10:30 am. Do you think since it's out for delivery today, it still has to get here by 10:30?
 
Just received an email stating there was a delay with part of my order - the gift card!

"Due to an unexpected delay, we now anticipate shipping the following
item(s) as follows:


ITS GC MAC APPS EDU 100USD AOS-USA
Delivers by Jun 18 - Jun 19

We regret any inconvenience this delay may cause."

The important item seems to be moving along just fine! ;)

I checked during check out and the only option was standard delivery. Nothing to select on merging or express delivery.

I'm in the same boat as you. It will be 72 hours this evening.

I dont think that is so bad.......I would love to have my Air and be waiting on my gift card & other items. Instead I have a 27" Thunderbolt Display sitting on my desk with nothing to plug into it, and my Speck case, magsafe2 connector, and time capsule are arriving today even though my Air is still processing. lol
