Now I may be wrong but I think it may be due to me selecting a 'merged delivery.' This may have resulted in my Air being ready for delivery but my gift card having a few problems, resulting in both being delayed.

Frustrating but still hoping for a 19th delivery.

Oh, and I'm from the U.K. :)

Just an update, my order is now at 'Preparing For Shipment.'

I expect everyone else in the quoted situation to have their orders updated soon. :)
 
Well I ordered June 11th and it's now June 15th and my MBA still has not shipped. So much for the 1-3 days to ship :rolleyes:

Very disappointed :(

Apple you are slipping... Miss the days of Steve.

Was Preparing for shipment when I checked this morning
Now shipped with UPS.
But no useful tracking information on the apple site (apart from consignment number) and number not recognized by UPS site.
 
I was one who had the red "Action required" notification attached to my order practically since I placed it (Monday night around 9 PM EST). It disappeared sometime Tuesday.

2.0GHz Intel Dual-Core Core i7
8GB 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM
256GB Flash Storage

Was in the "Processing Items" stage until this morning, when I got the email about the unexpected delay. I was massively disappointed until I noticed it was the gift card that wouldn't get here until June 21-22. And to think, the customer service rep I called Monday night told me that card would ship the next day :rolleyes: .

Now the Air is in "Preparing for shipment." The expected delivery is June 18-20, but still no tracking number.
 
Update on my 13"/4gb/128gb. Ordered it around 5 EST on Monday with expedited shipping. Finally shipped sometime this morning, but looks like it still won't be here until the 19th :(

The number won't work till they give it to UPS. They generate the numbers before they're handed over.
 
Haven't got any email, but just looked at the order status and now it says Preparing for Shipment! YES!!!! :D Finally glad to be out of the processing items stage!

Strangely enough, my gift card has shipped. Estimated to be there on June 18.

Macbook Air currently stranded in China because it was picked up after the FedEx cutoff. Anyone know when the next flight out is?
 
In the Midwest, Education discount and ordered Monday 6pm.

Finally changed status this morning and I was a little surprised the gift card shipped, as it seemed like that was the last to go for a lot of people... but then I realized that a giftcard should have just been ready to go and sent out immediately.

Still upset I paid extra hoping to have it by Friday, and now it's looking like next Tuesday-ish... :mad:

Expedited shipping, looks like I'm going to get it after my friend who got normal shipping. June 18th vs June 19th.

When the details come through, can you let us know where the uk units are picked up from?

Very similar circumstances for me: Midwest, ordered Monday @ 4, same config, w/ giftcard.

Shipped this morning around 8. Expected delivery the 19th. I also paid for expedited shipping. Meh.

Edit: Also, any oddball hope that it could still come friday? Or monday?

Do the tracking items below indicate that it's actually 'in transit' on a plane from Shanghai or could it still be sitting on the ground waiting for the next flight? Anyone know?
