Similar to a few others in this thread, I ordered last evening and the "Your Order" page reads in red letters at the top:

"Action required: We have attempted to contact you regarding your order. Please contact us at1-800-692-7753, Option 2."

This leads me to believe that it will not continue processing until something happens on my end. I called the number, asked the robot man for Option 2, tried pressing 2, but nothing worked. I went to a lovely customer service rep, Sandy (she really was the best), but she didn't know what was up either. She never saw that error before. She asked her higher up and he said it was simply an error that would go away.

Over 12 hours later, it's still there!
 
I called last night and spoke with them as well, was told they would change the status as it was an error in their system. It's still in the Awaiting Action with Action Required at the top.

That said, should I give them a call later today and see what's up and try for free shipping? I paid for the expediting shipping in hopes it'd be here before week's end. At this rate, it will be here early next week, which isn't exactly the expedited service I was hoping for :confused:

Same exact thing happened to me. I have called twice today, once @ 6AM and again @11AM . They cant explain the Awaiting Action message and said not to worry and call back in 24hours if its still there.......frustrating
 
My shipping was free to begin with...

I'm going to call right now. Little annoyed that "Ships today" isn't really true when I placed my order minutes after the store went back up.

Sorry let me correct that, free 2-3 day shipping.

But yeah, I replaced my order on the phone with Apple last night, it fixed it and I got free speed shipping and a thunderbolt cable out of it ;p

Yea, I paid that extra $14 too. Not pleased that my estimated delivery is June 15-19, and my order is still processing... after about 20 hours. Can I even expect that date range to be accurate still?

Oh, and I finally got a confirmation email at about 3:00 in the morning, some 11 hours after I ordered my MBA. :(

I actually had to call and modify my order, and I got the modification confirmation email before I got the order confirmation email :p not sure how that works. But yeah, if nothing has been changed in a few hours, I'll call back and ask again, and ask them to take off the expedited shipping if they can't fix it whilst on the phone.

Ignore the Apple TV, that wasn't free.. Just wanted one for Mountain Lion AirPlay. The free Thunderbolt cable has it's own order number since the Apple Rep ordered it for me while signed in as a Guest.
 
can i call apple and have them change my order to in store pickup if it's still processing? I payed with bill me. later
 
Yeah I ordered when the store came back online and I'm getting Processing Items still... I ordered the faster shipping too..

Hope I get it before the end of the week.
 
Hi everyone.
Refugee from the Macbook Pro here! Ordered my first Air online from the UK last night, pretty soon after the shop came online again. Wanted a 13" this time (I have a 2007 Macbook Pro), but just didn't feel the 13" Pro was right for me. Order still on Processing items.
While I'm waiting, and developing OCD refreshing my order page, is there anything you guys with more Air experience would like to share??

To anyone who had the red text "Action required," there is hope. My message disappeared within the last half hour. I've moved on from "Awaiting Action" to "Processing order." :)
 
I ordered an ultimate 13" (i7, 8gb ram, 512gb SSD) an hour ago and shipping from apple online store is 1-3 business days according to the confirmation email I got just 2 minutes after I ordered. To the point of red text error messages I got none, it took 2 seconds from me pushing order, until I had a page saying 'thank you'.

I'm a happy man. The geek bench score is 7700 for this model, and my old 17" Sony Vaio from feb 2008 has 2500, with a smaller HDD than the ordered SSD. All I'll "miss" is the built in Bluray player on the Vaio, but I've only used it a handful times in 5 years, so I can easily miss it.
 
ordered 11" 8/256/i5 with thunderbolt ethernet adapter last night. arrival expected 6/18-20 w/free shipping.

If it hasn't changed by tomorrow afternoon, I'm probably going to call and complain to at least get my $14 back since I for sure wouldn't be getting it until mid next week if it hasn't shipped tomorrow.

My delivery (with the 14 dollar shipping) is the exact same. It's due to the fact that UPS isn't delivering on Saturday-Sunday.

Oh I know. Stupid weekend getting in the way of new Apple goodies! I hate how this is two weekends in a row (weekend before WWDC and this weekend) that Apple is making me wish I could just skip. I just wish they didn't give me the 15th as the beginning of the range, because let's be real, that's not happening.
 
If there is one thing I have learned from ordering a new product from Apple on release day over the years, it is never waste your money on the expedited shipping. It does nothing with new products like these and free shipping will get it to you in the same time as "expedited".

BTW I ordered a 13" 4/256 air last night around 10:45pm ET and got my notification email along with the "preparing for shipment" status this am at about 8:30

Great. I order six hours before this guy and pay the $14 shipping premium, and I'm stuck in line behind him. (no offense, hehe)

Now into the 24th hour, and I haven't moved past the "Processing Items" stage. :mad::mad:

I ordered within a minute of the Canadian store coming online which was 2 hours after USA. 13/8/128 and 24 hours later still processing.

Still processing my 256gb/8gb. The only thing that has changed today is that the image for the back to school card changed from a card to a box (not that I'm obsessively refreshing or anything...)
