Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

I ordered a refurb 2011 model yesterday, and it hasn't shipped either. They've refunded the $14 I paid for expedited shipping though.
 
My base 13" Air shipped yesterday and will be delivered June 14th by 10:30am. Arrived in
Anchorage at 1pm today. I'm in Atlanta...any chance that thing will end up out for delivery tomorrow? I did choose expedited shipping, btw.

Seems like the 8gb option is the common denominator for those of us stuck at processing. Maybe they didn't anticipate how many people want 8gb?
 
11"/128GB/8 GB/i5 here, education discount, still processing 24 hours after order..? Said "ships in 1-3 days". Paid for expedited delivery (would like it before I travel on Monday, ow won't get to play with it until Friday).


Like apparently all the other 8gb orders.

Nope, i had a 4GB and ordered it at around 4 EST on monday and its still processing.

Congrats.....I just checked mine (yes 8GB 13") and I am waiting also. Oddly enough a few hours ago the "waiting" message went away and it shifted to "processing"....at the same time my other items (Speck Cover and Time Capsule) moved to preparing for shipment status....but hours later, the Air is still sitting there.

I could care less about the $18 I paid for shipping, but I will GREATLY disappointed if Friday comes and goes with no Mac. I waited nearly two months to order because I thought I was getting a Pro, and ordered a refurbed Thunderbolt last week. The delivery date when I placed that order was supposed to be the end of this week, but in a twist of irony, it showed up Monday and I am forced to look at it with nothing to plug into it. My nerves cant handle much more.
 
13" 8/128 here.

Been 'processing' for about 24 hours. I also paid the $14 for expedited shipping. Should I call and inquire about the holdup?

Didnt do me any good....I called twice today with no luck. Let me know if you get anywhere, but they basically told me to suck it up and wait

I have a sneaking suspicion that they have 1 kid who hasnt been allowed to sleep since 3 PM yesterday in a back room trying to solder our 8GB RAM upgrades on to the motherboard with a birthday candle while answering the phone to take order questions.....actually the delay makes perfect sense now

I'm In Melbourne Oz, ordered yesterday at 12:56PM. It went to "processing" almost straight away, and is still processing now. 13" 1.8ghz 256gbSSD with 8GB RAM. Agreed with other posts here, I can't believe Apple didn't foresee most people wanting the 8GB of RAM and sending a whole container load of the things so that they were already in the country :)

Anyway my delivery date is Monday 18th, so I would imagine it will probably ship today or early tomorrow and be in Australia on Saturday sunday for delivery to me first thing Monday morning.

Though I did get an nice EPP discount so it's worth the wait!

EDIT side note: It's nice to see from the article on the Macrumors homepage today that the geekbench score between the 1.8ghz i5 and 2.0ghz i7 is only very slight! I made the right choice! :D

Same configuration here, but ordered around 8PM Eastern last night. Currently in Preparing for Shipment status...

Got an e-mail about an hour ago: "One of your items has shipped!"
Too bad it was the Apple USB SuperDrive :(

Delivery estimate moved from (upon order) of June 14-15 to June 15-18. Paid for expedited shipping, which said "2 Days," and now says 2-3 Days. Is that grounds for a refund?

Won't hurt to call and ask right? lol I'd be a little upset paying an extra $14 for expedited and its the same time frame as those of us that didn't and ordered at the same time...

Actually I didn't realize until now, but the MBA RAM is not user replaceable. Looks like I'll either exchange it for the 8gb or just go all out and get a 15 Pro. Might call and see what my options are anyway...
 
Also, just called to ask about return/exchange for the 8GB model... the sales rep mentioned that since my order is processing, it'll ship tonight. Possibly arrive on Thursday since I picked expedited (but most likely Friday or Monday)

Now to decide what to do...

The rep I called did say that "Good news, your order is in Processing and will ship tonight." He said that since I chose 2-day "Expedited" shipping, it's possible I'll receive it Thursday. Of course he said that's up to FedEx (or whichever carrier), and it could still be Friday or Monday.

Also mentioned that it's probably going to be drop-shipped from China.

Just called. They said it just got done processing and it's in the warehouse for shipment tonight or tomorrow morning

i think you cant upgrade the ram your self in the next gen pro
