I have my M5 Air for 1 month now and the last time I was cleaning the display I noticed this line in the top right corner. It is on the very edge of the display right next to the rubber lip. It is smooth to the touch seems like some coating imperfection. Does anyone have something similar on their Mac and is it normal?

Definitely not normal, I had an m2 air and now and m5, never a mark on the screen
yeah, I have a dilemma if it is worth it taking it to apple for inspection. I will probably end up doing so and will see what they will do about it. Hopefully it will be covered

i would, it would bug the crap out of me, plus if its an issue with the coating, it has the potential to get worse over time

I'm tempted to buy Woosh from Amazon because it was recommended to me by an Apple Store employee. But I'm also skeptical and slightly paranoid due to this thread. I might just settle with my polishing cloth.

To me it looks like there is a little bit of paint or coating missing on the edge of the bezel. I highly doubt that this is going to cause issues in the future. Personally, I would ignore it.
