has anyone tried ordering from applesac.com?

it doesn't seem to be working for me.

I e-mailed them, they were pretty fast in getting back... by fast I mean, a couple of minutes. They accept Paypal and they asked if they wanted me to send a Paypal quote.

I think I am going to get an Applesac although I am trying to figure out the UK custom charges :(

Has anyone used an Applesac to carry their macbook?

I just ordered the black and white one www.applesac.com

and I'm wondering how good of a product others have found them to be :)

I liked the cute pattern on the outside, that's why I bought. :) Not going to lie.

Does anybody know if the neopreen sleeve will fit perfectly on the new macbook pro? Because the dimensions are little bit changed. Someone any experience with this combination?

Curious about the Applesac

Question to anyone with firsthand knowledge of the Applesac. Does the inside polyster fleece shed? I'm worried that the fleece might shed and make a mess of my keyboard, hubs, and screen eventually.

Any help would be appreciated because I want to buy a protector today. Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for the link to that review. Although the bag looks very sharp, it looks like I'm gonna have to pass because I wouldn't be able to stand seeing white fluffy stuff sticking to my screen and in between my keys.

The search for the perfect slip cover continues

i'm using an applesac for my new mb. it works great as something to keep your mb covered, but don't expect any protection from it.

I got a foofbag. The Origami Kuro design. I think they're extremely good looking. Like the AppleSacs (which are great too, I think), the're vertical. They don't have a flap, though, but that's fine with me. I wanted a sleeve that would allow me to just slide in the MacBook from the top.

Here's the foofbag I got.

That's a tough decision. I must say that I was tempted by the BlueBone foofbag before I ordered the Origami Kuro. I'd say, go for it. I think the Irish tweed is really good looking, too.

They're both so purty :D & work out roughly the same price inc. shipping. Any thoughts? Yes, I'm vain, and no, I don't need a heavy-duty case :D
Hey, nothing wrong with being (a little) vain! I am too, otherwise I'd never have gotten a foofbag, but would have went with a (heaven forbid) Crumpler. :p

Isn't it! Mighty handsome tweed versus lovely soft corduroy  :D I have an obsession with all things tweed atm.

Hehe, agree ;)

Looking for a shoulder-bag that only fits the MacBook and not as big as a messenger-bag.

Booq

This looks pretty cool. Says it'll ship Nov 25 so I'm assuming they are for the new MB's. They make nice bags too.

so it does shed on the computer. any first hand accounts?

i really like the applesacs. this is disappointing. :(

I emailed them, here's their response:
"Because the product is new, customers have commented that it does shed a little at first but goes away over time. I would recommend running a lint roller over it to pick up those loose fibers from manufacturing."
