I emailed them, here's their response:
"Because the product is new, customers have commented that it does shed a little at first but goes away over time. I would recommend running a lint roller over it to pick up those loose fibers from manufacturing."
Thanks for the link to that review. Although the bag looks very sharp, it looks like I'm gonna have to pass because I wouldn't be able to stand seeing white fluffy stuff sticking to my screen and in between my keys.

Come across this uk based company http://wrappers.typepad.com/ipod/apple_macbook_cordura_sleeves/. Anyone have any experience with them?
Like the black cordura but the pics don't show the linings very well.
I got a foofbag. The Origami Kuro design. I think they're extremely good looking. Like the AppleSacs (which are great too, I think), the're vertical. They don't have a flap, though, but that's fine with me. I wanted a sleeve that would allow me to just slide in the MacBook from the top.
Here's the foofbag I got.
This looks pretty cool. Says it'll ship Nov 25 so I'm assuming they are for the new MB's. They make nice bags too.
Heh, that's cool. Yeah, I love the design. Didn't at once, but as I was deciding on which foofbag to get, it grew on me more and more. Which ultimately resulted in me actually ordering it. Very curious about how it looks for real.I'm glad you got that foof bag, the photo you linked to is my photo and I LOVE that bag. I get so many compliments on it.
I never been a fan of the foof bags or sleeves with zippers. The foof bags would be better imo if they had a flap, and I always fear that sleeve bags with zippers will damage my laptop
thought about those tucanos as well, anyone have these?
I received my waterfield sleeve in the mail today (www.sfbags.com). I chose this one in part because they were the first as far as I know to make a bag specifically for the new aluminum MacBook which is a bit more than a tenth of an inch thinner than the whitebook.
It's a local (to me) San Francisco company with very personable service, ie. I got an email from the owner when I ordered the bag. Service was fast. The bag is attractive and very solidly constructed with some nice details like a strap at the bottom hold on to while pulling the notebook out.
It fits the aluminum MB like, well, a sleeve. I first bought the neoprene incase sleeve which is a one-size fits all for the old and new MB...it's fine but it's loose on the new machine. This one is a custom fit.
It's not cheap but for those willing to pay for thoughtful design and local manufacturing, it's a good choice.
