It's odd that there are differences between stores on display/not. If you expected anything from Apple, it would be uniform "experiences" in the retail stores.

Talked to several last night (SF Downtown and Stonestown) and both have them in stock and in the back room. Yesterday they thought they'd have them available for sale today, but I called this morning and they said they can't sell them because they're supposed to be focusing on Watch. What a pile of garbage.

Thanks to both of you. I'll be checking Old Orchard (Skokie, IL) and I'll do a drive by on the Michigan Ave store (which always always always has a line so I'm not even going to attempt to go in).

Went to Valley Fair in Santa Clara today, and they had them on display, but not for sale in store. As for the crowd size, it was maybe a little crowded than usual but not all in all, not too bad.

Went to Walnut Creek Store in the Bay Area because I was told they had in stock over the phone but then went to the store and they said only on display and to order online.

called two stores,
the lady in the first store simply said no stores will have them before 24th,
the second store, (i believe i was transferred to apple, not the specific store), said no store carries it today, and he doesn't know when any store will have one. and he said he don't have a recommendation for which store to go to, i guess it's random?


plus, best buy don't have it neither.
