I was thinking..
I ordered my rMBP on 06/18 and Apple says it'll take 3-4 weeks, but also says the delivery date will be between 07/17 and 07/23...
That's more like 5 to 6 weeks...

Count business days. In addition, I believe the 3-4 weeks is until it ships and the date range is the arrival times.

Sweet! Just delivered! Got into the office, got coffee and came back to have it sitting on my desk.

Man, this screen is amazing. It is really going to make using an older Mac hard.

Finally shipped after sitting at "Preparing to ship" for 4 days, so for others in this same situation there is hope. Still, when the status changed on Monday I was hoping it would be delivered by today, but now I have a July 3rd estimated arrival.

At least I can stop clicking on refresh.

Mine has finally shipped! Ordered about 1PM Pacific on the 12th. It should be here on the 3rd. I was quoted initially July 3-10th, so it falls on the earliest date.

My guess is that your order was just pulled from a stack in the warehouse. That is a good sign, they might start getting caught up on orders.

I wonder when estimated ship times will drop down to 2 - 3 weeks.

They probably 'forgot' to update your preparing for shipment. Or Fedex 'forgot' to scan the package until it had arrived in America, thus that was the first time a tracking code was generated and why it shows it started from America.

It turns out that was just the free superdrive they sent me because I've been sitting at "preparing for shipping" for over 3 days.

My mac is still in China somewhere

I can't figure out why my order is still stuck in Alaska? It got there yesterday and has not moved. In order to make it to my house by tomorrow morning, it is going to have to take off very soon. It has 2 airports and a hub to get to before the truck brings it to me.

I ordered my 2.7/16/768 on July 11 at 1 PM and it's says processing. Has anyone with this build moved from here? It says delivers by July 9 at 3-5 weeks.
