I'm standard and have International Economy. I'm also one of the 3 people here who has the Shipment Exception today. Maybe they were giving Priority to everyone who ordered earlier and only giving Economy to people who ordered later with standard shipping (I ordered the 23rd btw).

Please post if you get any update as I am in the same situation as you.

Should be getting my update soon as it appears that it was on the same flight as yours. Called earlier and got my shipping refunded since I paid for 2-3 business days and it isn't expected to be delivered till the 6th.

Just got a tracking update. My Mac is in Anchorage, AK. Guess it wasn't on FDX48. Oh well, AK or TN, it doesn't matter as long as they put it on another flight soon. Get that Mac to VT where it belongs!View attachment 345977

I got the same update. Lends credence to your suggestion that they may be delivered on Monday/Tuesday!

June 15 orders rMBP

To all the June 15 orders. Any of you at Preparing for shipping or shipped yet? I'm still Processing -___-

Officially moved up!

Ordered mine on the 15th (2.3 base config), and got a delivery estimate for Jul 13-19. Received an email this morning saying it had shipped out with a delivery estimate of July 6! Very excited for a new machine, since this will be replacing my 2006 Core Duo pro. Hopin to get 6 years out of this one too :D

tell me about it. i ordered a 2.7/16/768 within 30 seconds of the online store opening on the 11th, and was hit with 3-5 week shipping. nothing but processing here.

I am on the same boat. What is your delivery estimate? Mine is July 9-20th. I really wish it will come earlier. Orders placed later during the day (on the 11th) had a delivery estimate of 2-3 weeks. I will be very pissed if the orders placed later start shipping earlier.

I ordered 16/768/2.7 on the 15th mine's shipped now, and is expected on Monday!

Usefull info

Ok so I thought I put the spreadsheet to some good use.
First I filtered out all the entries that haven't been updated since a week and all the 768GB orders (they mess up the data :p )
Then I sorted them on
1 Estimated Delivery date
2 Shipped?
3 Orderdate

And it is really clear that (apart from the sporadic lucky dude) almost all orders with expected delivery of July 12 have been shipped or preparing and they are half way through the July 13 orders.

There are only 3 July 14 orders in the spreadsheet, all are not preparing yet. July 15 doesn't exist (sunday).

From the 15 orders with Estimated delivery on July 16 only one is Shipped and one is in processing.

I bet tomorrow (if our chinese friends work tomorrow) we will see the last July 13 orders and the quite some July 16 orders getting prepared/shipped!

Woohooo :D

Conclusion: Apple ships by "estimated delivery" not by order date.

June 15th was a Friday? :S

I'd be interested to know if they work on sunday. Has anybody had their status change on a sunday? I think the opposite and believe it is quite likely that they operate 7 days a week, with either different staff shifts or people doing a form of overtime.

Hell, if someone told me a foxconn plant is open 24/7 with exceptions of public holidays I wouldn't be surprised.

Oops my bad, June should be July (estimated delivery).

I'd be interested to know if they work on sunday.
According to the spreadsheet there have been lots of orders moving from processing every single day since June 22nd so I think we can assume they work on sunday. Good for us!
I guess they work in shifts, kinda like in the hospital. I.E. one week you work mon-fri and another week you work wed-sun. Don't think it's 24/7 though :p

Interesting. Mine has already departed from Memphis, TN which means it's going to Seattle...

So I should probably be getting mine on Monday rather than Tuesday like it says.

:D

Edit:

Yep, this fedex flight from mem to sea matches the timestamp :D

How do I get my entry to show again? I haven't updated for a week because I have no updates to update, lol, and I'm sure that goes for anyone else here that ordered after the 15th of June.

No change can also be an update ;)
You can see all entries in the Permanent sheet. If you want to update please use the form indicated in the yellow row.

June 12th....still processing. If it doesn't change by Monday I'm calling apple and asking why later orders are going out before mine.
