Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I've pretty much lost all hope that I'd get it before the estimated window. Mine says July 9th - 20th. Which means I shouldn't expect any change until Thursday at the earliest.
Mine says tomorrow before noon but I was hoping for today. You still didn't get your card? I got my SuperDrive and card sitting on my desk taunting me for a couple of weeks now, haha. Just called FedEx and the guy said that the "IN TRANSIT" is normal to be stuck this long, said it should be out for delivery tomorrow, try calling them and asking when yours will be out, maybe they'll confirm that it's today

Me: Tracking says july 3rd.
REP : ok this was only cleared from customs today in MIssissauga, delivery tomorrow by 1700
Basically a big **** you from fedex....
I think they didn't count the day off in the estimate

I have no idea thats what the chat rep said? Im kinda pissed about this especially since I'm supposed to leave tomorrow. I needed to get it all loaded up with software ect.. Delivery date should be the date or before I know it says estimated but grrrr.
Hi folks, your neighbourhood 11/768er here, still in processing... This is about long enough for the buyers remorse to sink in.
I'd have waited for the Haswell's myself had it not been for the change in weight and thickness, since this laptop spends half the day on my shoulder it was a welcome relief to know that they've cut those back.
But boy, does the premise of just buying an Air or another ultra book as a stop gap and waiting for Haswell's to come out next year sound nice to me right now.
That said, I really hope the seeming slow down in the factory over the last few days is them doing a quick supply side correction of the ghosting monitors in order to avoid a potential recall.... *Wishful thinking*

But in all seriousness, still waiting for my 2.7/16/768 as well. Looking forward to playing with it and having a computer newer than 5 years old in the house.

Lucky mines going to be a day late! Stupid fedex. And mine shipped a day before you.
I think it's because I just ordered a base 2.3/8/256 and they seem to have a ton of them because they're mass producing them for stores.

At this point I am afraid we are stuck on a glitch. Did you see the spreadsheet? It it horrible for the 768/early 11th.
Most stores seem to have the 2.3/8/256 and 2.6/8/512 models in stock, from what I can tell. If you're tired of waiting and aren't doing anything really crazy with the machine (video editing or whatever), I'd just cancel and pick one up in a store with 8GB of RAM.
Of course, I went to a store last Friday just to see if they had any (they did). In the morning I could still cancel my order. I get to the store at like 2pm and by then my order changed to Processing and I couldn't cancel it. So hopefully you'll be luckier than I was LOL.
Make all your times local...(destination time) and they will make more since.
Just ordered a 2.7 16GB rMBP, is the wait time still 3-4 weeks or are they shipping a little sooner?
For the record, I have a stock 2.3/8/256 on order from the 15th, and I'm still waiting. I'm not sure placing an order for a 8 GB stock model would decrease your order waiting time. If you're going to get an 8 GB, I'd start stalking the Apple Stores.
Do you happen to be in edmonton? lol I have the exact same tracking info, or close. I was told it went through customs today, and will get it tomorrow by 5. Estimate was for today.

3 weeks to shipping would be a reasonable assumption - but if you get lucky or unlucky it could be 2 or 4 weeks, respectively.
Winnipeg, actually! But that would make sense - I was hoping for it today, but I can survive the extra day.
