Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

My 2.6/16/768 Retina pro was delivered today in Austin Texas.

I ordered the afternoon of the announcement, and it shipped on Sunday night. Apple estimated delivery time was July 9th, Fedex estimated delivery time was 7/6.

I think it's because I just ordered a base 2.3/8/256 and they seem to have a ton of them because they're mass producing them for stores.

I ordered a base the 12th, and I'm still processing. Seems BTO machines are going out first.

Do you happen to be in edmonton? lol I have the exact same tracking info, or close. I was told it went through customs today, and will get it tomorrow by 5. Estimate was for today.

Mine doesn't even say that. Im told it will be here tomorrow as per rep. I am going to call early am and see if I can Pick it up before it is delivered, I am leaving at around 2-3 pm tomorrow and they can still deliver later. But if I can pick up at 8-10am il be happy with that.

How many people who ordered on June 15th have shipped? I ordered around noon time on the 15th, it's been processing ever since. I've called apple a couple times, second time they offered me a free superdrive which I took. I've received my superdrive and my apple gift card, but the damn laptop is still processing. It's been about 18 days since ordering and I'm getting pretty frustrated now. I was hoping it would at least ship today, but it didn't and tomorrow is the 4th of July so that's going to delay everything even further.

Finally, after sitting in Shanghai since Saturday night, my order has left. Woohoo.

Edit: Hm, flightaware says FDX28 was scheduled for 8:30pm (Chinese time) departure, going to Anchorage. So I wonder if mine is going somewhere else, if it left almost 2 hours earlier (since that's the only plane going from Shanghai to Anchorage). Hm.

How did you find out all this information? I received an email 8am Saturday PDT and it sat in Shanghai for a while. There was a bit of movement last night and when I checked this morning, it appears to be in "transit", which I assume it's on the plane and heading to the U.S.:

I called up with all intentions of asking them to give me one (since I read about it on here) but before I even got a chance to ask, he offered me one. I basically just told him that I was getting very frustrated at the wait time and the next thing out of his mouth was "i'm going to add a free super-drive to your order". At the end of the conversation I tried to push my luck for a thunderbolt-ethernet adapter but the guy was not having it.

Except for the false alarm email earlier today from Apple that said my order had changed (and it didn't), I'm still in limbo and totally frustrated. I've called the six stores in my area - no luck - and I'm not sure that they really know when/if they expect to get these models in stock. Of course, I'm waiting for my 06/11 order of the 2.7/16/768. No shipments tomorrow b/c of the holiday and no new shiny Apple toy for me to play with while I'm out of work for the next few days. :-(

I ordered the exact same config but I'm going to wait it out. I've considered canceling out for the 8GB but I know I'll never be happy knowing that I could've had 16GB if I could/would be patient. I'll definitely be much happier when it arrives if I stay the course.

UPDATE: I answered my own question. There's probably a better way though. The table covers the field, but I found was I could deleted the entry and enter the corrected date and time manually without seeing the field.

It's gonna be a looooooooong month.

I love it!

So for all you Canadians wondering why the fedex site keeps showing at Memphis "in transit", it's most like because of the statutory holiday. You should see all your machines soon if you're at that stage!

This is the case for sure. Called Fedex, told me mine cleared customs, but will be arriving only in the AM. 2morrow. Another Sleepless night....

lol yep, mine was on the 6:56 transit from Memphis too. I was a bit perturbed at the time that it was still stuck at that status for so long, but then I hit refresh this morning and boom! It was on the way to me!

I was surprised that it got processed in Mississauga this morning and arrived at my door by noon.

Nope - somehow it's been moving very quickly - the original anticipated date was July 6-11.
