My co-worker ordered a 2.6GHz/16GB/500GB rMBP on 6/12 around 12pm. He just got his yesterday. I'm quite happy for him and it does look sexy.

I was already feeling bad that my order had shipped and that some folks on this forum were able to get a Super-Drive, especially after I found out my co-worker got one too... :(

My co-worker said that I could call them to see if they are willing to give me anything, especially since my rMBP was sitting in Shanghai for 3 bloody days. I had already ordered the Super-Drive, but he said maybe I can get the Thunderbolt network adapter.

It didn't hurt to call since the worst thing is that they say no. So I called and asked about the order status. I did say that some folks got their notice on Saturday and got theirs today. I was hoping for the same thing because I was about to leave town due to the holiday. The representative was really nice and apologized for the inconvenience it may cause. She then offered to refund me the money for the Super-Drive.

Wow! I have to say, it made my day. I reall needed something to pick me up after last night when I got my heart bruised from a girl I liked. Hell, now I can't wait for the rMBP (2.7GHz/16GB/768GB) to arrive. My brother joked that it's my mail-order bride. Hell, the rMBP would be lower-maintenance, cheaper, and probably bring me more happiness in the long run... :p

Game over

SCREW THIS I HAVE HAD ENOUGH 3 FRIGGIN WEEKS TO PROCESS 5 DAYS OF ORDERS ARE U FRIGGIN KIDDING ME APPLE!!!!!

I am voting with my money and have just cancelled by rMBP order. I can't be bothered wasting my time with this crap, its the same old bs every time they release a new product and everyone just puts up with it.

Im done with hypotheticals on why or 'there must be a good reason' blah blah blah... the fact is im willing to put up a couple grand to get a machine and apple don't even respect their customers enough to give them any more of a status update than 'processing'!! wtf does that mean.

Im taking my cash somewhere else. Maybe if they sort out delivery times for next year ill buy one, until then this has to be one of the worst buying experiences I have ever had!

The more people rage quitting out of line, the less waiting time for those of us further down the line

I have the same config. as you 2.6/16/768 ordered 4:30 eastern on 6/11. Still processing. I'm a 3-5 week victim.

Same here! Tried local stores today. No luck!:(

----------

2.7/16/768 ordered as soon as the online store re-opened on the 11th. Still processing.

No update! I wonder if any will leave the factory tonight? If so, maybe we could still receive on Friday or am I just being overly optimistic!

It has already been established that Apple goes by their expected delivery timeframe (mine is July 14 - July 21), and the order date means nothing. I ordered on the 13th and I am still processing. However, as long as the system arrives by the 14th, I am happy. That means it would have to be shipped by the 12th (I live in Japan).

Still in processing..
*sigh*

me too man. I really hope people are just forgetting to update the spreadsheet, cause it looks like they barely even started to get to the 15th's and boy are there a lot of em. It looks like ours wont even change to preparing til next week :(

Well, I'm guessing I was wrong and my rMBP didn't leave Anchorage yesterday, as there hasn't been a single update since "In Transit" at 2:48 yesterday, despite there being a flight not too far after that. Maybe it was sent to Memphis and hasn't seen an update because it didn't move away from there, but I don't know about that... little bit irksome to see no progress at all in more than 24 hours now considering the fact I didn't even get a free upgrade, I paid extra to get it shipped in 2-3 days.

I don't even look at it anymore. I just look at this thread and go to the last page. I'm about to call apple and have them replace mine with the the highest base model.. I'm so close to calling them..

For those of you stuck in Memphis on tracking like this:

Jul 1, 2012 6:53 PM
In transit
MEMPHIS, TN

Your package is currently in Mississauga, but it hasn't been updated. If your delivery estimate was for tomorrow, it will make it to your home  FedEx phone support lady explained that on her system it updated to Mississauga but didn't seem to upgrade online. If it remains stuck even tomorrow morning, chances are it's on a vehicle for delivery :D Can't wait!!

I feel your pain. I still feel super lucky though after reading everyone else's wait times. I ordered mine on the 24th and it should be to me by the 5th, I can live with that.

You ordered yours on 6/24 and it's already moving?? Damn I ordered mine on the 24th and it's still processing. What specs did you order?

Still waiting in AK........:(

So here's my story ordered MBR 2.7 16G 768 on launch day via calling business care was promised 3-5 business days as the apple representative told me I was the first to order. So 3 weeks later the computer sits in AK since July 2 248pm I have made multiple calls to customer service no JOY! I'm guessing from reading this thread that apple did not anticipate so many high end custom orders. I should mention this is my first apple computer my wife has an IMac I fell in love with the iPhone and IPad so I converted. I'm replacing an aging dell that currently is on life support. I wish good luck to all of the members still waiting on shipments !

Anyone Else Order on the 17/18? I ordered the 2.6/8/512 with a 3 - 4 week shipment window (delivery July 17-23)(to Florida, US). Anyone else finding any fluctuations with the shipment window... preferably earlier deliveries :D

The current trend is 1-2 days earlier than the initial estimated date, with a few lucky ones who are getting theirs a week earlier.

I emailed Apple Executive Relations (I had the contact info from a previous issue I emailed Tim Cook about). The rep said that if later orders were being shipped out first, then there is something wrong and he would look into it. I gave him the link to this thread, but am not optimistic that anything will come of it.

I ordered as soon as possible on 6/11 (2.7/16/768). Those who ordered up to a week after me have already had their machines shipped. Mine still shows "Processing." This is ridiculous.

is there any way we could pool our contact information with you?

Thanks for doing this. I emailed Tim Cook last night and sent a Tweet to P. Schiller. Not sure it would do any good but as a loyal Apple consumer, I am so annoyed to see so many people who have their MBP with the same config as mine. Here I was, an Apple fan, loyally waiting for the store to open after the Keynote on 06/11. Every time I refreshed the page, I was excited like a child waiting to buy my rMBP. Now, I hit refresh in hopes that the word "Processing" would disappear.

Wish someone would do something but with the US holiday, I suspect nothing will happen until Thursday, if anything happens!

I'll post if I hear anything back, but the rep's attitude was pretty much non-belief that later orders were shipping first. He said he's inclined to not trust postings on this forum (like people have any reason to lie and say they've received their orders).

I asked when I could expect my order and he just regurgitated what the order status page has said since the 11th: Delivers July 10-23

Did you order on 06/11? My delivery date is July 9 - 22. Order confirmation about 4:00 pm CST on the 11th. Yea, I figure that some people are skeptical of those of us on the forum. I went to the Apple forum earlier today to see if this conversation was also going on over there. I suspect there are some people here that have not really received their computer and are just trying to annoy those of us who have placed legitimate orders but I don't believe that it is the majority of folks on this site!
