I am sorry to break the news to you, but you are part of a select group of people who ordered soon after the announcement, just to get stuck in the processing phase. No good news for us. It really sucks.

Me Three...I have called twice...and they say it will be delivered for sure by the 20th! I just can't understand the skip in orders. Its like a digital order purgatory :mad:

I am just looking at it like this...the more they assemble in that configuration, the farther away I may be from first run defects...silver lining for a few more days then I'm going in hot

I ordered the same configuration on 6/11 and it's still Processing. Everyone I've contacted at Apple either doesn't believe these later orders are shipping first or they don't care. What a way to reward customers who spend almost $4,000 immediately after a product announcement.

Same thing to me but now it is in Memphis, TN at the fedex hub as of 11pm pst.

If you have been following this thread there was no forward movement (date wise) until late in the week, so yes it is in fact true! I think you are forgetting that the dates moved forward but it then takes a while to clear out the orders, then they move on to the next batch.

I'm being realistic not just blindly optimistic. 768rs going out now too so seems like a lot of orders to shift. I would be surprised if 18/19-21 moves earlier than tue/wed next week. If i'm wrong i'll eat my words, but if you're wrong (more than likely) you can eat yours ;).

It's nice to see that some of these are finally getting shipped out! I'm hoping mine will be here sometime before the estimated date due to this.

For reference I placed my order at about 2:20 PM PST June 11. Everyone in the June 11 3-5 group should be getting their notices very very soon. Finally guys! I just got back from a concert, granted a little drunk, but this is the best news all day! Sweet 15" big picture baby!!!!!!!!!!!

:eek: Have just found a dead pixel (yeah... just one) on my RMBP! I know that there are like 5 million of them, but still it will annoy me since I know know that it is there. It is located in the middle of the status bar, so I notice it quite a bit! I had a few questions for anybody here who has had a similar problem:

1) If I take it back to Apple, are they likely to accept the return since I only have 1 dead pixel (so far that I can see anyway!)
2) Am I likely to receive a replacement sooner than the time it originally took to get here?
3) Would I be allowed to keep this one until the new one arrives? - My now old 2011 MBP's hard drive failed yesterday - so I can no longer really use it! :mad:

Long post I know - but thanks for any help/suggestions that you can give me! :)
 
Dude...come on man. It's one pixel. I wouldnt sweat it.

Me to. So they finally got to us folks that ordered on June 11th after going through tons that ordered after us; happy but not too excited anymore.

I think you have 14 days (might be 7 one of the two) for a no questions ask refund.
