it's about f'n time... 6/11 2.7/16/768 preparing for shipment

within the past couple hours my 6/11 2.7/16/768 order went to 'preparing for shipment'. order was placed a couple minutes after the online store went back up, edu with a 3-5 week shipping estimate to hollywood, california, that was originally a july 10-23 delivery estimate that bumped to a july 9-20 delivery estimate after i called apple (about a week and a half ago) asking why my friends who ordered the same config days after me had already received their order.

The call and its relationship to the shipment was coincidental, many of us made that call. Looks like we've all been moved to shipping. An Apple rep told me a few days ago it would ship before July 9th, guess she had her information right.
 
Received my MPBr 256 / 16 / 2.3 here in Copenhagen yesterday. Ordered June 14th. First ETA said 3-4 weeks with delivery 17th - 23th of July, so I'm pretty happy with receiving it July 6th :)
Could have gotten it one day before if UPS hadn't been short of staff...

So far everything is running great except one sudden restart, but that might be because of an unstable Crome Canary.

No ghosting, dead pixels, yellow tint etc.
However scrolling picture-heavy website do lag a little. Not enough to piss me off though :)

Haven't heard the fans go off yet and so far it haven't even become slightly hot.
 
May I know how many of the 3-5 week'ers have received their rMBP? Roughly looked through the spreadsheet, it seemed that everyone except one within this group had yet to receive the laptop. :mad::mad:

I am just looking at it like this...the more they assemble in that configuration, the farther away I may be from first run defects...silver lining for a few more days then I'm going in hot

I'm in the same "elite" group. Ordered 2.7/16/768 on 06/11. Maybe by the time we get our computers it will come with Mountain Lion!

Glad for you but still nothing here! Order confirmation recieved at 4:04 pm CST on June 11 from Apple. Sounds like even the 06/11 orders aren't prioritized. Let's hope the rest of ours change status today!

If 6/11 just turned, I guess I'm waiting another 10 days at least!!!! Crap I can't wait anymore! My brother ordered base model on 6/27 and received it on 7/6- I'm jealous!

I'm anxious as is everyone.i ordered my 2.7/16/768 on 6/21, obviously still processing. Has anyone with same spec's seen a change in status? Pls post if/when u do.

Still processing 6/11 (2.6/26/768). 3-5 weeks.
 
I think the order statuses get updated as soon as that thing is off the assembly line and packaged and getting put on a pallet.

Hope so but I can't spend another day refreshing the page! :mad: I think you are in the same situation!

Yes, I supposed so as I ordered from Singapore more than 2 weeks ago. However, the estimated delivery time for new order has normalized to 3-4 weeks when I checked it today.
 
Update: 2.7/16/512 ordered on 6/17 11pm est. has finally shipped!!!!!! est. arrival on 7/10. Anyone care to tell me how to go about flight tracking. Please n thank you. Good luck to all, be patient they seem to be moving more quickly than expected!!!

So, looks like most guys from Singapore got bumped into the 3-5 weeks. Same here. 3-5 weeks, 19th order.
