Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

My RMBP is somewhere South of Finland right now... 34,000ft in the air and moving at 550mph.

Expected to arrive in London in 3 hours.

I guess the next steps are customs, then shipping to a facility to add the EDU discount card, then shipping to a distribution facility, then to my local distribution facility and then to me.

If each stage takes roughly a day then I guess I'm about 4 days away from receiving it...?

Tracking has a notification stating
"10-Jul-2012 14:00:00 GMT Requested Delivery Date"


It's getting close!!
 
Congrats to those who ordered 2.7/16/768's on 6/11 whose orders have finally moved into Preparing for Shipment status. I ordered mine at 3:37 PM CDT on 6/11, and I am still stuck in Processing status. I only have standard shipping selected, with estimated delivery continuing to show between 7/10 and 7/23.

You should call and ask about getting the expedited shipping.

i ordered a 2.7/16/768 maybe a couple minutes before you and am still processing. it really feels like they're moving through the 768s in reverse order! in any case, i'm super happy for all the other 6/11s who are getting prepared, it gives me hope for ours :)

It's def erratic. I ordered well before you (about 230p CT). My confirmation arrived at 530p. When did your confirmation email arrive

Agree on the reverse order comment! Maybe ours will still release today and be on the same plane! I keep refreshing but.....

I had the same thought about Apple processing in reverse order! I guess it makes sense to Apple - process the orders for the most expensive combination last and then process the first orders for that combination last.:)

My confirmation arrived at 4:04 pm CST - 1.5 hours befor yours and yet no order status change. :confused: maybe they release by time zone?

looking it up, i actually ordered around 2:30pm central time and got my confirmation email at 3:36pm central time.

after the keynote, i was literally refreshing the online store constantly until it came back up and finished the order 30 seconds after the store was back up.

I actually did call last week and got no offer of anything. When I called, I mentioned that I had seen that others with the same configuration as me had seen their orders move into preparing for shipment status despite having been ordered a day or more later than mine. Her excuse was that mine had to be assembled in China. I then asked her where the others had been assembled. She said China. I then decided there was no point in further conversation as she was operating on a higher plane than me.:D

So, are all of us in CST still waiting? Maybe they'll have a direct flight from the factory!
 
There was one FDX28 flight that got massively delayed yesterday, ended up leaving this morning Shanghai time/yesterday afternoon Eastern time.

Mine is showing in transit, however, as of "10:37 PM" Shanghai time.

A FDX28 flight left at 7:06 PM Shanghai time, however.
 
I'm most likely wrong, but I'm not getting my hopes out that my 6/11 order will ship out for the next day or two because of the thunderstorms in Shanghai.

Anyone want to interject and correct me?

Thats very odd. Mine is shipping to Eastern US, not sure about the other folks here. I'd expect yours should be going out soon unless they have caught you in a weird regional window (which at this point wouldn't surprise me with the way Apple's logistics have been handling this). Call them or keep checking. I hope it gets out soon!

Wait a minute, how did you order at 12:30 cst? The keynote was 12-2pm cst and the online store took another thirty minutes to get online?
 
UGH, 6/16 2PM EST 2.7/16/512 order... still processing... :(
