Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

WOOT! ABT FTW!! Called and got the model I wanted 2.6/16/512! Ships tomorrow. I feel like I'm dreaming lol
 
Changed my status.

Bigglobe, I think they just started building computers for those who ordered in Asia. I'm happy that I'll finally be getting my computer here soon, but it was a grueling one month wait just to see a status update. They were obviously ignoring any order from Asia to build systems for those from other regions (particularly the US and Europe). If my computer is being prepared for shipping, your will be too very, very soon.

Ugh, there's a small nick in the aluminum on the top left edge. It's tiny, but I can see it and feel it. Oh well, I'm sure that a replacement could have a real issue, but I'm going to be extra vigilant to make sure there are no issues with this unit.

Hope so! I don't even have an account, lol, so I can't really check the status... I could call them or go on the chat but meh. The guy I talked to was pretty sure I'd get it by Saturday with my fancy expensive shipping.
 
At-least something is happening. It may seem funny, but I guess something is finally being done with my rMBP. The "Gift Message" thing has disappeared from my Order page. LOL

Hey abt.com has the 512/16GB model that I want in stock! I'm considering ordering it and canceling my Apple order now... how do I get the student discount from abt.com?
 
Order from 6/19 just went into preparing for shipping. It is a 2.6/16/512 and is scheduled to be here with 2-3 days shipping between 17th and 23rd to Chicago. It is also an edu package.

When do you guys think it will come in? Early next week right? No chance for it to come Saturday right? So freakibg excited!!!!

I went on their live chat and then I had to call them to give the credit card info etc. Honestly it would probably be quicker just calling straight up, but whatever works for you.

I guess they closed at 10 pm. :( And now it's 11. No online chat, and nobody answering the phone.

Can't decide if I should just do the online order or call in the morning and hope it's still in stock...

anyway most stores in SG have them in stock long ago, albeit with very small numbers. so far they carry only the basic configs.

but for him (axlvtt) right, his delivery is actually supposed to be from 14/7/2012 onwards.. Apple in truth hasn't done wrong by him, and neither I. My dates are 9/7 to 23/7

They already represented the delivery dates to us and they have kept by them, with possibly no delay unless dhl screws up.

to a large extent, we can't fault them, because they kept to their agreement. It's just that we would prefer it earlier and ultimately, they have the discretion when to send it to us, as long as it is before the date that they said so.

They've had them for quite a while. Stock options only, with no plans for any upgraded ones. If there was an upgraded one I'd forego my business discount and get one today. The wait it murdering me.

Isnt 14/7 a revised delivery date given to him? He mentioned that his original estimate was 3-4 weeks but he is alr in the 5th.

I am not faulting them, just that the waiting and excitement is dying.

Actually, it was shipped in 3-4 weeks, delivered in July 14-21. They haven't shipped mine as of yet, but it took them 4 weeks and 2 days for mine to go to preparing for shipping. So I'm definitely getting my rMBP well within the estimated delivery timeframe.
