I'm also in Zürich, ordered mine on the 20th ... still no change ...

Update on shipping, so close to 18 hours after my processing status changed to preparing for shipment I have now just received the email confirming my order is shipping

Got the email 7/13 1:15 AM EST that my rMBP base model ordered 6/19 had shipped via FdEx eta 7/19 to New Jersey, a day after the 18-24 date given when ordered so that's five more days of using my iPad for everything.

Have faith! I've had Apple orders go from Memphis to next-day delivery, and I'm on the other side of the country from Memphis.

Edit: this does, of course, depend on which shipping option you chose. :(

Hope so for your sake! Mine doesn't appear to have moved yet, but the truck to Nashville usually lags that flight from Shanghai/Anchorage by a couple hours, so that doesn't surprise me.
 
Mine just shipped!! :D

Ordered on June 19th, prepared to shipment on July 10th, and it just shipped! It's arriving on the 17th!!:D
 
Shipped !

only 8 hours after my 6/19 order had changed from processing to preparing, my rMBP has finally shipped ! my first Mac is finally on its way, oh yeah ! :D est delivery date is 7/19 but hopefully its even sooner.
 
As others have reported: in the Apple store, the shipping times have dropped to 2-3 weeks .... :eek:
 
Mine's changed at long last! Preparing for shippment or whatever the notification is.
 
Oh god...

After checking my order status every hour since it's been at 'processing', my status has FINALLY changed to Preparing for Shipment! You can imagine that it was like staring at a mirage. I rubbed my eyes, I gawked, I pinched myself in case I was dreaming. Nope, it's definitely changed sometime between 3AM GMT last night and 10AM GMT this morning.

Mine's a base model, ordered on 18th June, late evening time. Delivery estimate is 16th-20th July. Shipping to Northern Ireland. Hopefully it ships soon - Apple ships over the weekend, right?

Good luck to the rest of you 18th (and beyond) orders who I've been speaking to.

Ordered the evening of June 22nd (base 2.3)

Status changed to processing July 11
Shipping July 13
Eta July 18 to Philadelphia, USA
Original delivery July 23 to 27
 
I think I'm going to do the abt.com order today. So abt.com is a totally legit company right? It's just that I've never heard of them. Do you guys think it's as safe as ordering through apple?
