Absolutely not
My thai order 6/12 shipped 7/12. As of 7/16, its still in Shanghai. For reference, the accessories I ordered came in early from China, and they took 5 business days to ship. The best part was from landing in bangkok to delivery was 3 days.

Mine too!!!! same order date, same configuration!! :) I'm so excited! It's a long 25 days wait.

Doubt it, I ordered 6/12 from thailand and it has not gotten an updated status since the clearance was finished on 7/14. Not even sure its made it to BKK yet. Maybe DHL really does take a break over the weekend? :confused:

Good god what is taking so long at customs?? I dont recall delays like this when I got my ipad (which also shipped direct from China)

Ordered on 06/20/2012 2.7/16/512; it shipped Friday the 13th from Shanghai; arrived in Anchorage Saturday; arrived and departed from Oakland today. Hopefully delivery tomorrow (?) :D
 
Finally, my 2.6/16/512 ordered 6/21 is preparing for shipment!

I think I'll call and cancel as my rush is gone now...

It wasn't just thai customs, DHL took a whole day to get it to the BK distrubtion center. Customs was a day, then it sat at DHL for a day, then DHL took it to bangkok distribution center... then they delivered it.

DHL is not like FedEx / UPS out here where the package is constantly moving. They like taking long pauses, maybe they don't have the volume for frequent movements.

i think they work saturdays but not sundays.. would you want to work on sunday? for almost close to min wage?

mine went thru clearance last night and arrived in s'pore at 2.30am. its at the dhl facility having arrived at 9.30am. i hope to get it today... hoping..

[update] dhl says by 9pm tonight.. :)

It's not the case of working on Sundays etc. I however believe they work 24/7. What I was asking here was, what's it doing in "Preparing for shipping" for almost half of Saturday & half of Monday. I have seen cases where it's just takes 3-4 hours for the "Preparing for Shipping" to move to "Shipped".

Yes its Monday and my retina macbook pro just shipped, ordered on june 23rd, but do I return it and get 16gb ??? I want to learn final cut pro and start filming.

for mine the assigned carrier appeared in the email. not on the order page. but u can clicking on the tracking number on the order page and it automatically redirects you to the carrier's website for tracking.
 
I dont understand, i ordered my base Mac on 19th and got the confirm email on 21th( ships to Germany) and now the status stay still Processing Items.The first and the last longest wait time in my life
