Min says in transit too but est delivery is still friday ;(. Also I havent received any tracking info for the courier yet so looks like it might be friday for me.
 
hmmm... anyone else's order get stuck at "in transit" out of Alaska? It's been nearly 24hrs(22Hrs) and it hasn't changed status. Oddly, it says "in transit" twice... weird... Damn you whoever figured out the flight aware thing, since I had already "determined" at 2am last night that mine (would have) made it to TN this morning, out on a flight to Houston for today's delivery! :D Wishful thinking...

Slight purple tint on the Apple logo. Not enough to make me care.

Amazingly fast machine. Beautiful screen. Just installing my programs and setting up a fresh time machine to back up with it. Wonderful!
 
Ordered the base rMBP model on July 18 and got it today - exactly one month after the initial order.
Be patient - you'll get it eventually and the waiting is worth it.

This morning I got off a long call and checked my email. It was from the Fedex tracking service and it said that the package had been delivered this morning at 10:18 at the front desk. I went down and asked and it was handed over to me. Then I looked at my watch - - - 10:20! Networks are pretty cool.

The retina display is amazing, the startup speed as good as I could have hoped for. Oh, and the grandchild will be born no later than Friday. It's turning out to be a really good week.

Delivery was 1 day earlier than the window. Tomorrow was the first promised day. If it had not be handed over to Fedex at the end of the week I would have gotten it sooner. It spent 2 days over the weekend at Fedex in Shanghai.

Been using it all afternoon and it seems to be a perfect machine. No ghosting, creaking, display issues. Also no lag in scrolling and even running windows in VMware has gone off without any hiccup. I am very pleased with this upgrade.

I was surprised that it shipped out of memphis last night at all, i wasn't aware that FedEx continued freight operations on a sunday. lucky though.

Hi Mr. iOS, I've received my child yesterday and it's absolutely perfect in every way, except I've had an issue with the power supply. The first time I charged it, it stayed orange after it was finished charging. I thought it was just finishing up, but it stayed like that for a while and I had to go so I unplugged it.

The same thing happened later on that day when I needed to charge it again, it stayed orange over night. If I unplug it and plug it back in, it starts as orange immediately. If I wait a few seconds before plugging it in, it starts out as green, then flickers between orange and green and finally goes to orange.

Now it is green, but the adapter is cold. I think when it gets hot that the problem starts. Anyone experience the same thing? I tried resetting the SMC but it didn't help.

Greetings.

First a brief background: I've been a PC user from MS-DOS 2.1 upto Windows 7 ultimate (and i won't be leaving), and the last time I used any mac (apart from recent use at work) was in 1989--but i have retina Macbook Pro on its way.

Since I ordered it I have been scouting every possible youtube vid on it, posting on the Apple forums, everything to sate my craving.:D
 
This is crazy there is no rhyme or reason to the order that they are shipping in I am never going to get mine i ordered 2.6/512/16 on 7/9 it said 2-3 and i got the faster shipping so I hope it prepares for shipping by like monday cause I dont have a computer my first one showed up with DOA USB ports and now i have to wait again

Mine says estimated friday and I still have no tracking info... hope we both get it tomo! Read somewhere that some guy got his tracking number at like 1am and then he got it the same day so fingers crossed :)

how did this happen!? there is no way that this was a regular order it had to be a replacement or something i ordered the same thing a week before and it hasn't shipped yet !

Foxconn should REALLY start to take a look at a calender. They are assembling them randomly. Where is the ****ing problem to produce these MBPs sorted by date of order.
 
Just ordered my rMBP today. Its going to be a long wait.

Ooh it changed to 'Delivery scheduled by final carrier see estimated delivery date' but the estimate still says fri ;(

I received mine yesterday too at 14:00 EST. You received yours much earlier than I did and you live hours away from Concord whereas I live half an hour away. Enjoy!

Anyways ... here's a summary of my order experience on a base rMBP:
Ordered on: June 18
Available in: 3-4 weeks
ETA: 19 Jul - 25 Jul (Note: Many who ordered the same day as I had 10 Jul - 16 Jul)
Went to preparing on July 10
Shipped on July 11
Delivered on July 17
