That, my friend, is quite possibly the fastest it could get from China to your door. It must have made every connecting flight, customs, and truck just right! Congrats!
I ordered the 2TB version for extra space since I only opted for 256GB of internal space.

The rMBP was waiting for me when I got to work at 9am. Haven't been able to unpack it but that box sure is pretty. Now I have to make it through work!
Ordered a 2.3/16/256 model on 28/6 with EDU discount. Still processing! Hoping for a change by the weekend. I can't believe they're already getting to July orders.
My status is now for 24hours: "Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date". Still dont have tracking number from TNT/UPS

i ordered my macbook pro retina 2.3/16/256 on the 29th of june, and i finally got the preparing to ship status after the uncountable amount of refreshing on the apple order status page YTD,
then just now i received an email saying that it has been shipped and the carrier is DHL and will receive the product before the 23rd, my estimated delivery time from apple is 25/7 to 30/7 quite happy about the speed hopefully with receive my new machine soon

8:00 am I checked the status and it is now changed to shipping. FedEx tracking says it will deliver on 7/24!
Does anyone know if they move around at all on the weekends once they're in the US?

This is a repeat of my post in the UK-specific forum, but I just thought I'd offer my first impressions of the machine here after having it running for about an hour.
Finally managed to get home and open the box. Everything looks great so far. No dead pixels to speak of, no ghosting, and I don't see any of that 'yellowing' of the screen others have experienced. If anything, it appears a little 'pink' compared to my wife's 2010 MacBook. If you're like me, you look for 'banding' of light and dark places on the LCD from different angles. I can notice a SLIGHT instance of this, but it's certainly better than the MacBook and much less pronounced than two MacBook Pros 13" 2011 I had to send back for severe banding issues last year.
There's the same lag when scrolling that others have described, but it doesn't seem unbearable and, if it's a Safari issue, there's hope this will be fixed in the ML update. I still have to install all the updates, so I will report back after that. First impression: a pretty good machine. The screen is a joy to look at and I'm looking forward to scrutinising this a little further over time.
Good luck to all you who still have your machines on order and are awaiting shipment. It seems worth the wait, but to be honest, after a solid month, the excitement wore off a bit for me even as I intercepted the UPS delivery man at reception.

How'd you figure this out? You just line up the flight number with what's reported with the time on your tracking info?
I actually had the same thing happen to me. My FedEx tracking is almost identical to yours except mine came in through Alaska before touching down in Newark and then over to my local facility in Brooklyn, NY. Was supposed to be here tomorrow, FedEx had it on a truck this morning and delivered it at around 11:00 AM EST. Longest work day ever. Another two and a half hours before I can go unbox the beast.

Based on my prior orders, it should arrive tomorrow. Imagine a plane full of Apple products...

FX28 continues to Memphis. It leaves Anchorage around 4pm (Anc. time). Still time for your package to get on that flight!
