Mine also in the same flight, its funny that it says package picked up after cutoff time but started to move in the same day. Looks like I can get my hopes up for monday. (by the way this is a june 30 order 2.3/16/256)

My Rmbp sat 45 minutes away from me all day waiting for customs to clear it
Called FedEx and they said it would probably clear Sunday night and be at the local facility Monday morning. The guy told me it wouldn't have been released to me today regardless and said "when apple sends shipments of computers, they send about 5000 at a time", and that Apple specified Monday for delivery.
On the bright side I asked if it would be possible for them to not load it on the final truck for delivery on Monday and instead call me to come pick it up in the morning, which they are going to do... Much better for me as I'm working nights and was worried that I'd be unable to wait up for the delivery guy.

Still in Memphis for mine. Definitely taking the leisurely route.
Update! My rMBP was sent away yesterday! I cant see any tracking yet, and apparentely tracking is not working propperly in europe at the moment.I ordered my 2.3 with 16GB RAM on June 28th and so far nothing has changed...
Several people have told me that they didnt get a number until the MB arrived.
Mine's arrived at the local warehouse today. I called FedEx to see if I could pick it up but they told me Apple had told them to not release it until Monday. I wonder if these will have Mountain Lion installed on them? Maybe that's why they took their good time to reach the destinations.
No, the website can go down Saturday night/Sunday morning. It happened last week, and it seems to have happened this week, too. It means what it means: "Please try again later".

I actually live in Salem. I believe the fedex facility is in Londonderry/ Manchester at the airport.
I'm the same ordered 2.3/8/256 from HE EDU store on the 27/6. Frustrating as I hoping to get it on the 26th or 27th which looks unlikely to happen now
I'd say give it a try, but I haven't had any problems with mine since that day. Now it's working great, and the battery is at 8760 mAh compared to the design capacity of 8460 mAh. I know that's not super accurate, but an extra 3% battery juice at this size is not bad!
By the way, did your order come later than expected? Or why did you call after 2 weeks? I called them and got expedited shipping, but didn't think to ask about a charger. What did you say exactly that got you that charger?
It didn't make any difference anyway, Both chargers work flawlessly. (can't comment on the status of my battery outside of designed capacity of 8486mAh because I've been able to use my computer for almost 2 days between charges. I was even able to watch a 2 part BD rip, complete disc rip w/o compression from an external hdd, that lasted 6.5 hours on a single charge.)
No, my order actually came as scheduled. (actually arrived 2 days early thanks to Fedex) I was just calling to see if the support rep could see any change in the order, since I've never had an Apple Order sit longer than a week without some change occurring. The lady was kind enough to automatically switch me to expedited shipping without me saying anything. When she asked if there was anything she could do to make the experience better, I let slip that I was intending to use the computer in 2 locations and she offered to send me a second MagSafe 2 adapter for free. All said and done, I hung up a very satisfied customer who will no doubt be parting with a few more paychecks at Apple stores in the future.
Well ya but it was quite far for me so I asked them to deliver there, But now I think I might have been able to get it faster if asked to held there.

I called Apple yesterday asking if my shipping was going to come down at all from the original 3-4 week estimate since the store now reflects 1-2 weeks (ordered 7/6, 2.3/16/256) and they said the best they could do was bump me to expedited shipping. I mentioned that some people I know (you guys on this thread) have ordered after mine and have shipped. The rep on the phone told me if he had an order number to look at and confirm they could "do something".
Anyone have any idea what that would be? Or anyone have any order numbers that have shipped after 7/6?
