*sigh* The Apple Customer Service here in Sweden is not any better but I intend to call them today.
If, according to the post by xackexxo, the Chinese work week does actually begin on Tuesday then that would explain to some degree why we haven't seen any movement. (ok, I'm grasping at straws here, lol).

The difference in price between PL and SE is less then the amount on the gift card though, so we're almost even.

I've asked UOB card division today and they also don't know why Apple haven't charged the bill. Maybe I missed something what the Apple lady had said yesterday. I'm still waiting for her call
Well, according to Fedex, it's delayed since it's supposed to be delivered yesterday. The time frame of IP direct distribution is 4 days, and I paid 23 bucks for expedited shipping. I just hope Fedex doesn't wait and handle my package by apple's estimated delivery date.

Took 18 days from order to this.
If it ships soon I'll have it this week

People in the UK: How long did yours take to be delivered to your house from China?
Just got an E-mail that there will be a delay in shipping because of "Constraints in the Apple manufacturing facilities"... whatever that means, sounds like lazy bs to me (from the Israeli re-seller side, of course). On purchase the estimate was 21 business days. That would be on 7/26... that's clearly not gonna happen. Also, while around the world the shipping estimate for the mbpr went down to 1-2 weeks, in Israel it actualy went up from 30 to 35 business days (that's seven (!!) weeks)... Feeling very miss treated over here...
Just got off the phone with the sails rep who's "tracking" my order. He told me that the "word he got from apple" is that they (apple) will be "releasing the units that are held up in the apple facilities" sometime mid/end of next week. This means that I will not see my machine in at least two weeks (most probably three...). all of the quotation marks above represent what I believe to be incompetents of iDigital (Israel's Premium (and ONLY) re-seller) and not real-world scenarios.

I know, those dodgy resellers are the worst - we have a few of them in Poland (no Apple Stores), charging 1000 euros for the unlocked iPhone 4s. I was surprised to learn that there's no AOS in Israel - but then again the Polish one opened only last fall.

Actually, every single import in Israel goes through a reseller. it's law. Which sucks. Seriously, I should have bought it through apple.com... I would have had to make a lot of compromises (no applecare in israel, no Hebrew backlit keyboard, lots of customs tax etc.) but at least I would have a computer now. I am WAY behind on my work, and have to turn down projects....
Ordered my 2.3/16/256 on July 10th (11th AUS) and still no change from processing. My apple rep is probably getting fed up with me emailing him telling him people who ordered later than I did have already received theirs. Anyway, this is what he emailed me back today:
"I checked our order status link and it is still showing that it will arrive next week. Though I have had multiple customers that the order status has not reflected updated shipping dates to reflect the quicker availability of the Retina systems. I will say that the order is on track to be delivered"
It's all a bit of nothing really, I suppose that's the email they send when they simply just don't know. Ah well, thanks for listening. Hope you guys with yours are enjoying it

I ordered my rMBP on July 1st, 2012 from the Apple website (I was torn between that and the Cornell store-- but the latter was out of stock and I wanted to be sure I got my laptop in time for college, even if I had to pay a few extra $). Yesterday, July 23rd, I received my laptop through Fedex. The $100 back to school iTunes/App Store giftcard came in the mail much earlier-- I forget the exact date, but it was something like July 9 or 10.
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised to receive my laptop over a week before the expected delivery date that I was given at checkout. Thank you, Apple and Fedex.

Hmm just curious but with the release of ML around the corner when do you think they will begin shipping with it already installed? Super curious as I ordered on the 16th and still waiting on it to be shipped ...

Ditto on what was asked before: Could you PM me just the order number so that I may take this up with Apple? You ordered well after me, same configuration as I did, so I am surprised that mine hasn't moved at all yet.
