Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

The UPS guy came over at 11.30 AM!

Ordered: 06/29
Shipped: 07/21
Tracking number giver after merger of the package: 07/26
Delivered: 07/27
 
Ordered: 7/16
Changed to 'Preparing for shipment': 7/27 and my card got charged.

Original Estimates:
Ships: 2 - 3 Weeks
Delivers Aug 3 - Aug 9 via 2-3 Business Days

If mine ships out today or tomorrow, I should receive it well before Aug 3rd.

My 2.3/16/256 rMBP that I ordered on July 13th entered the prep stage within the last nine hours :D. Hoping this means I can make the earlier side of its Aug 3 - 9 delivery estimate.
 
Ordered base retina on 2nd July via the uk edu store and finally it is at preparing for shipment! Is it usually a short time between this status and 'shipped'?

Don't worry yourself so much. My delivery estimate is still supposedly Monday. But it is looking like it is going to arrive today. So the estimate isn't necessarily reflective of the actual delivery date.

I just know how these shipping companies like to "be on time" regardless of the inconvenience. My case arrived at the local distribution center yesterday at 2:30pm, then it got to sit there until today, to not arrive early.

I ordered the 2.6/16/512 retina model on 7/10. My credit card was charged $15 on 7/24 and the full amount earlier today. When I checked at 9am my order was "preparing for shipment." Woohoo
 
I hope someone knows what will happen with this.

Estimated delivery was Monday 07/30/12 by 1030, I was not going to be home.

I called this morning and asked them to put it on hold for me to pick it up.

Checked tracking 5 minutes after i called to put it on hold and it says

Likely not. I did the same thing with some stuff I got a month ago and it just rides on the truck all day until it gets back to the FedEx facility.

I paid by cc as well, Apple reserves the purchased amount on your cc, I would call up your cc hotline or Apple just in case, to avoid delays if something went wrong with your transaction.

Well, you're probably still going to get your order shipped before mine. Apple hasn't been very good with handling my orders. Falling into the 2-3 week group is practically a death sentence.
 
Mine went to Preparing for Shipment!!! :D:D Btw I ordered 7/12 and it's a 2.3/16/256
