I about had a heart attack when FedEx pulled up to my door this morning, it was a new laptop bag I had ordered. Crap.
Haha I had a dream today where the door bell rang and I actually ended up jumpign out of my bed adn running downstairs thinking some post office man came or something. Boy was I red in teh face!

Same here, ordered the next morning with 2-3 weeks dispatch time. However, Apple did not take the payment until next day, so now I'm in the 3 -4 weeks dispatch time frame.

Can anyone help me? Apple send me a mail that my MBP is shipped but when i click it and track it there's really only my address + some codes + delivered on or before 25th of june... I tried the codes in ups but it won't work, someone knows what to do? I got the mail like 6 hours ago...

I am also in the 2-3 weeks group. And I wouldn't expect any movement on it until wednesday next week at the absolute earliest.
Fortunately for me I am going to be busy from tomorrow until the end of the week, so I think time will fly.

Yeah, with the iPad 3 launch, the delivery estimates were very conservative and people got their much earlier than Apple stated. Saying that though, this is a Mac launch, so stock piling could have been much less strenuous.
I am going in store at the weekend so I think my laid back attitude will be tested when I finally see the rMBP.
Darn you fedex. Already 1.5 days since you received it and they are still dicking around in China.
What a day yesterday. Supposed to be delivered on Monday but FedEx got it out early yesterday. Tracking showed out for delivery at 8:30am. At 5:30pm still wasn't here so I called and they said it should have been delivered by 10:30am but the truck was still out. Around 6:30pm they finally delivered it. It's one amazing computer. Best I have ever had.

That's probably on FedEx flight FX28, landing in Anchorage, US in about 5 minutes. Expect your tracking info to be update in about an hour or so.

Yeah, that is when I'm scheduled to get it. Was just crossing my fingers that I would be able to get my hands on it this weekend while I'm off work!
Hey everyone, I received my reserve confirmation SKU for the RMBP from Best Buy. Does anyone have any experience how this works? Does that mean Best Buy is waiting for that particular SKU model to be delivered? Thanks for the help!

Then we're probably in the same boat. According to the website the shipment of the macbook (from China) and the giftcard (from Prag) will be merged in transit (in Prag) and then be shipped from there in one package, so our tracking codes will appear AFTER they get shipped from Prag.
Since Apple probably won't work Saturday or Sunday, hopefully they can ship it out on Monday, but that's just a guess on my part.
Mine says "Merge In Tnst CZ Pra" on the left side on the Apple tracking website.

Did yours get stuck at "Departing from Memphis"? That popped up this morning but I haven't received an update since. I assume that's because it's at my airport sorting facility and unscanned as well?

From my very quick count, there are currently 22 planes in the air that have left from Memphis. I wouldn't call that dropping everything...
No, surprisingly. I thought our MacBooks were going to best friends until the end! haha.
Mine made it to Columbus, OH (where I live) this morning, but hasn't moved since. I called and they said it's still at the airport, so I cannot pick it up. Have to wait until Monday.
To know it's just miles away and I cannot have it is so frustrating!

ahh FINALLY mine has changed to Preparing to SHIP .....took them long enough to process...anyone have any experience on how long it goes from preparing to ship to actually shipping out?

Anyway, yeah Marrakas, it seems our airports seem to have not bothered scanning anything yet. We'll see some updates by this time tomorrow night for sure in time for a Monday morning delivery. I can't wait.
