Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Mine says in Transit from Memphis since 2:27 am. I hope they put it on a plane and not a truck.

You'll see it leave Anchorage sometime around 3 to 4 PM AKDT today most likely. My package had a 26 hour wait in Alaska two days ago as well.

Just called the Apple store to see if I could get in on this uh, expediteted shipping bump you guys were talking about but no dice. Lady just told me to check the Apple store because it'll be the first to update or whatever but aaaa I can't wait!
 
And I ordered when the estimated shipping date was in 3-4 weeks. Anyone have an idea whether those of us who have to wait for 2-4 weeks have a chance of getting lucky and have the RMBP a tad earlier?
 
Ordered rMBP 2.7Ghz/16GB/768GB on 12 Jun around mid-day (Australian EST). The order acknowledgement says '2-3 weeks' and estimated 'Delivers' date is '2 Jul - 6 Jul'. Can't wait!

Memphis is FedEx's main hub (and a location in the geographic center of the US makes sense. UPS's hub is in Louisville), so pretty much all air packages go through there. It makes more sense than having dozens of planes from Alaska flying not even half-full of packages to cities all across the US when they can fly one full plane to Memphis, re-distribute the packages to new planes, and send those out full to various cities. FedEx has spent millions on determining the best logistical system for their package, and this is what they came up with, and it seems to be working pretty well.

Exactly the same situation here man! Ordered mid-day June 12th with expected delivery 2 - 6 July.
It cant come soon enough!

Ordered on Tuesday so I'm in the 2-3 week club, still processing :(

I guess that 2-3 week guy who had his shipped must have been a fluke or something.

Has anyone had any movement on their order (i.e. processing to prepared for shipment) since Friday? Maybe they don't do any of that stuff on weekends.
 
My order just went from processing order to preparing for shipment. Can anyone tell how long will spend in the preparing for shipment state?

Haha yeah, me too. Lots of popular applications will have been most likely updated to retina quality by that time, so that is a plus.

Won't be very long, more then likely will get shipping notification Sunday night.
