Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I have been waiting and waiting for it to come with ML. I ordered mine last Saturday after Apple said it would come with ML pre-installed. So I am very happy to hear they are finally coming through with ML :)
 
OMG, it is on vehicle for delivery! It shipped a week early and is now being delivered a day earlier than Fedex projected! This couldn't have been better. I cannot wait to get home from University to unbox this monster and get to setting up my new computer setup.

Mine got to local facility on 7:27 AM, and at 7:49 AM it got on vehicle for delivery. I would say if it was before 8 or 9 in the morning, you have a chance. I got the expedited shipping, not sure if locally that gives your package preference over the rest that go on the vehicles for delivery.

Ordered at 3:00pm est on Friday Aug 3rd

Estimated delivery August 18th to 21st

Got the shipping notification this morning 7:45am est

New Estimated delivery August 13th!:D

Its getting delivered to the facility were its getting repacked or to your carrier if you live close to Amsterdam... You will get a new trackingnumber to a carrier not the expo.expeditors.com.

Ah I see thank you, now I won't have to stay home confused about how I don't have a carrier assigned yet, and still it's already on it's way.

The dictation is extremely accurate and really responsive. It's completely silent. I've only heard the fans once when it was updating to lion and installing the smc update afterwards.

The only issue I am having is trying to get the iLife apps to update. For some reason it keeps saying that the updates are for another apple id account but I have only put one id in. The app updates should be for the current id since they came pre-installed. I also had an issue registering it through the automated, first turn on screen. I put in all my information but said "not now" when asked if I wanted to send it because I didn't have wifi at the time. Now that I have wifi, I can't find the file that it said it would create in my home directory which when clicked would send the registration stuff. So as of now I am not sure if it is registered and I think that it not being resitered is causing my issues with the iLife apps. I'll be calling my represenative tonight to see if she can explain the problems and get them fixed.

Besides those two issues, it is awesome! :D

Yeah came to Denver at 6:45 to locally facility.

I would have thought my MBPr would be in either Memphis by now but it's been "In Transit" in anchorage for awhile.

Final Destination is Edmonton, Alberta
 
Ordered 2.6/16/256 rMBP on 8/2, 7am. Still no movement. This is to replace my returned rMBP 2.3/16/256, for which i had to wait for almost 1month, the wait was well worth now that i am able to return and order 2.6 config/get ML pre-installed and hopefully get samsung display (my previous one was LG)/and was able to download ML from app store free ( installed on my old 13" mac)

checking status multiple times everyday is still fun... :)
 
ohhhh yes, I totally didn't take into account Canadian Customs :mad: this is the part where it takes forever.

Even on Lion, mine hasn't had any lag what so ever. After updating to mountain lion, it is even faster and still no lagging.

I also don't think I am experiencing any screen ghosting or yellow/pink hueing of whites like some others have been reporting. I plan to test it tonight to be sure but last night out of the box it seemed perfect.

Ordered mine 8/1, same config - is currently in the preparing for shipment stage. I'll be you see movement overnight.
